Blox Fruits Hellfire Gas: How to Get It, Moves & Value (Halloween 2026)

Hellfire is the first mutation in Blox Fruits that isn't built on a beast fruit, and it went live with the Halloween event on October 31, 2026. It turns Gas into a chainsaw-swinging fire demon with its own moves, its own meter and its own mastery. The event's first day also filled r/bloxfruits with the same three questions: how do I get it, what is it worth, and why can't I switch back to Gas?

This guide answers all three with the numbers that matter: every way to get Hellfire, what each one costs, how much Candy Corn you need, and the catch that surprises people right after they eat the fruit.

Quick answer: To get Hellfire Gas in Blox Fruits, roll the Spooky Gacha for 500 Candy Corn per roll (two rolls an hour), buy it for 1,250 Robux if you own Permanent Gas, buy the Soulfire Bundle for 3,499 Robux (2,800 with Roblox Plus held for over 2 months), or trade for a physical Hellfire. The gacha closes when the event ends on November 15, 2026 at 01:00 UTC. The 1,250 Robux route is the one that should stay open afterwards.

Everything here was checked on November 1, 2026 against the Hellfire wiki page, Roblox's official event listing and the live Games API, which showed 275,515 concurrent players at 01:43 UTC. The wiki is still changing fast after launch, so several stats below are marked as unknown rather than guessed.

What are all the ways to get Hellfire Gas?

There are four confirmed routes and one rumoured one. Here is what each really costs:

RouteCostAvailable untilMain catch
Spooky Gacha500 Candy Corn per rollEvent end, Nov 15Max 2 rolls an hour, odds unpublished
Gas mutation menu1,250 RobuxShould stay openMust own Permanent Gas
Soulfire Bundle3,499 Robux (2,800 with long-term Roblox Plus)During the eventCheck contents in-game first
TradingMarket priceAny timePrice is moving daily
Boss dropFreeEvent end, Nov 15Wiki says "extremely rare", possibly under 1%

The Robux math is simple. Permanent Gas costs 2,500 Robux, so a player with nothing pays 3,750 Robux to buy both separately. The bundle undercuts that by 251 Robux, or 950 with the Plus discount. Players expect it to contain Permanent Gas and Hellfire, like past mutation bundles, but the wiki only lists it as a Hellfire route. Read the bundle screen before you pay.

If you already own Permanent Gas, 1,250 Robux is the cheapest paid route by a wide margin. The Mutations page says you can buy a mutation any time you hold its permanent base fruit, and that "only the physicals are event limited."

The boss drop is the weakest route to plan around. The wiki lists it against a "Gas Boss" with a possible sub-1% rate and no confirmed number. Some guides also list a tree spawn. The Hellfire page doesn't, so treat that as unconfirmed.

How does the Spooky Gacha work?

The gacha uses the same spots as the regular Blox Fruit Gacha: Middle Town in the First Sea, the Café in the Second and the Mansion in the Third. Per the Spooky Gacha page, it costs 500 Candy Corn a roll, allows two rolls an hour and shares its cooldown with the regular gacha.

The pool holds:

  • A random physical fruit, above Common rarity
  • Limited accessories, including the Coven Witch Hat, Pumpkin Mask and Mummy Headdress
  • Profile backgrounds: Full Moon, Halloween Tapestry and Hallow Forest
  • Limited potions
  • The grand prize, a physical Hellfire

Rolling any limited-time item also gives you an extra roll, so a cosmetic hit isn't a full loss.

Candy Corn or Spooky Tokens? This confuses a lot of players. The pre-launch showcase above showed "500 Spooky Token", so many guides still use that name. The live game runs on Candy Corn. The patch text reproduced by Beebom says: "Spend Candy Corn to roll the Haunted Gacha for exclusive rewards!", even though that same article's summary still says Spooky Tokens. The wiki's Events page and players farming on r/bloxfruits use Candy Corn too. That screenshot's 19-day timer was also a test build, because the official listing closes the event after about 14.5 days.

Gamer Robot hasn't published odds. Still, the wiki notes that an "unusually large amount of people" have pulled Hellfire, and players are reporting the same thing. One wrote that "overall hellfire is very easy to get", while another said "wish we could see the percentages". Treat those as day-one impressions, and don't budget around a roll count. One player also described a pity system for gacha items, but we couldn't confirm it.

How do you farm Candy Corn fast?

To hit the cap you need 1,000 Candy Corn an hour. From this check there are about 335 hours left, which allows roughly 670 paid rolls at most. No one will run that many, so the real limit is how much Candy Corn you can farm.

SourceCandy CornWhen
PumpkinAbout 2-5Any time, every island in every sea
Jack O'LanternAbout 4-7Sometimes spawns from a pumpkin
Harvest Moon doorsVaries by roomFirst 10 minutes of each hour
Hell Rider win400Fire door during Harvest Moon
Candy ConcoctionAbout 50 in 2025, 2026 amount unconfirmedHell Rider drop

At 2-5 per pumpkin, one roll takes roughly 100 to 250 pumpkins, while a single Hell Rider win is 80% of a roll. That makes the best hour simple: be ready for XX:00, knock on doors for the full Harvest Moon, and try every door for the fire one. Then smash pumpkins until the next hour. A player on r/bloxfruits recommends the Third Sea because "the pumpkin spawns are closer together", and that's sound advice for route length.

Watch the wallet too. The wiki lists a 5,000 Candy Corn cap, which is 10 rolls. Roll twice an hour as you go, or you risk wasting farm time on a full bag.

How do you beat the Hell Rider?

During the Harvest Moon, one random door is wreathed in flames. Opening it opens a hellfire portal to the Hell Rider's arena, and multiple players can join the fight. A win pays 400 Candy Corn and a Candy Concoction, per the wiki's event notes.

The boss's level and HP aren't documented yet, so bring a group if you can. It does spawn on private servers. Several players confirmed this in a thread asking about it, and one soloed it with Kitsune but called it "very painful". The returning Werewolf boss can also appear from Halloween doors.

Should you eat a physical Hellfire?

Read this part first, because it's the top complaint so far. Per the Mutations page, eating a physical mutation grants only the mutation. You can't switch to base Gas until you've switched to the original fruit or own Permanent Gas. After that you can swap freely through Menu, Items, Wardrobe, with Gas equipped.

Two more things catch people out:

  • Mastery doesn't carry over. Mutations share no mastery with the base fruit, so your Gas mastery won't help. Hellfire starts from zero, and its transformation needs 300.
  • The Robux mutation isn't physical. Buying the mutation redeems it to your account, so you can't trade it. Only a physical Hellfire can be stored or traded, and physicals are event-limited.

So if you're after value, don't eat your first one by reflex. Check the market first.

What are the Hellfire moves?

Hellfire is a Mythical Elemental fruit with M1 attacks, and its moves differ from Gas despite early pre-launch lists showing the old names. Cooldowns are still blank on the wiki.

KeyMoveMasteryEnergyUntransformedTransformed
ZInfernal Rupture125Fire shot that splits into fourThrown chainsaw that pulls on a direct hit
FPhantom Inferno5025Teleport, then homing flamesTeleport plus a giant fire skull
XHellfire Onslaught10050Tap ground slam, hold dashTap flame slash, hold steerable tornado
CHellspawn Legion20075Flame demons with damage over timeFaster, longer-range demons
VInfernal Ascension300TBATransformReturn to normal form

The Hellfire Meter works much like the Fury Meter. It fills passively and when you deal damage, and it never drains while untransformed. Once transformed it drains constantly, and faster when you attack, take damage or walk on water. M1s drain it too, so aim them.

The form gives damage reduction, a speed boost, double jump height, double dash distance and water walking, though the exact percentages are still TBA. The cost is steep: you can't use fighting styles, swords or guns until you press V again. That's a real trade-off in combos built around Godhuman or a sword.

The move to learn first is C. The wiki notes its damage ticks stop enemies charging abilities and drain their Instinct. It can also auto-aim a little, though you can't move while holding it. The weak spots are the tap M1, which is low damage and Instinct-trickable, and the endlag on Z and F. For base kit comparisons, see our Gas fruit guide, and for sword options see how to get CDK, which appears in the wiki's first Hellfire combo.

How much is Hellfire worth in trading?

Nobody has a stable price yet. On November 1, the trackers disagreed:

TrackerHellfireWerewolf
Blox Fruits Worth1.68B, high demand, rising (Oct 31)1.29B (Oct 28)
FantasyBloxNo value yet, demand 10/101.4B, demand 7/10

Before launch, players were throwing around "20B" figures on community sites. Nothing live supports that. A sensible read today is "around or somewhat above Werewolf, with low confidence".

Our call is that the price is more likely to soften than climb over the next two weeks. Supply is rising every hour if the drop really is generous, and everyone wants to trade the fruit while it's new. The counter-argument is that physicals stop being rollable on November 15, which is when scarcity could start to help. If you pull one and only want value, get several quotes in-game instead of accepting the first offer. Our Blox Fruits trading guide covers the value rules and scam traps, and our value list helps you spot an overpay.

What else is worth farming while you roll?

Pumpkin Snowmen replace some pumpkins and drop 2-10 Pumpkin Bits, one Cursed Pumpkin Seed and a random event potion. Bring 3 Cursed Pumpkin Seeds and 200 Pumpkin Bits to the Witch to open a portal to The Great Pumpkin, a Lv. 3000 raid boss with 415,000 HP.

The Great Pumpkin raid boss with its top hat in the Observatory

It drops the Great Pumpkin Top Hat, the Pumpkin King title, a profile background and Candy Corn scattered across the floor. It doesn't drop Hellfire, so run it for the collectibles. Save your seeds if you want it, because the Soul Swap Potion uses one seed and 100 Bits. Our Halloween event guide covers the rest, and level 3000 guide will get you ready for the boss.

Need Permanent Gas first? It unlocks the 1,250 Robux Hellfire route and lets you swap between both forms.

FAQ

How do you get Hellfire Gas in Blox Fruits for free? Farm Candy Corn from pumpkins, Harvest Moon doors and the Hell Rider, then roll the Spooky Gacha for 500 Candy Corn a roll. You get two rolls an hour until the event ends on November 15, 2026. A boss drop is also listed, but it's described as extremely rare.

Why can't I switch from Hellfire back to Gas? Eating a physical Hellfire grants only the mutation. You need to switch to the original fruit or own Permanent Gas first. After that, swap through Menu, Items, Wardrobe with Gas equipped.

How much Robux is Hellfire Gas? It's 1,250 Robux from the Gas mutation menu if you own Permanent Gas, which costs 2,500 Robux. The Soulfire Bundle is 3,499 Robux, or 2,800 if you've held Roblox Plus for over 2 months.

Is Hellfire better than Gas? It's too early to say. Damage percentages are still unpublished, and Hellfire has its own moves and mastery. Its transformation blocks fighting styles, swords and guns, so test it in your own combos first.

Are Spooky Tokens and Candy Corn the same thing? Yes, in practice. The showcase called the currency Spooky Tokens, but the live game uses Candy Corn. Any guide saying Spooky Tokens means the 500 Candy Corn roll.

Can you still get Hellfire after the event? Physical rolls end on November 15, 2026. The Mutations page says the mutation can still be bought with Robux if you own Permanent Gas, and physical Hellfires can still be traded.
