False Seven is a free FC 27 Evo for left-sided players: +6 OVR up to an 81 cap, +7 Acceleration and Sprint Speed, and a choice of three level 3 paths, for 3 matches and no wins. Any card rated 75 or higher finishes at 81. The catch is the PlayStyles: both stop at 3, so 238 of the 373 cards that reach 81 don't get the full pair. EA SPORTS FC 27 added False Seven on Friday 30 October at 18:00 UTC, and you have until Monday 9 November to start it.
We pulled fut.gg's eligible and evolved player lists for the Evo on 30 October and matched all 3,645 eligible cards to their evolved versions. Every total below refers to those cards, on the path fut.gg lists for each. Below are the requirements, every level, which path to pick, the shortlist, and the free chain that gets a 67-rated card to 81.
TLDR: FC 27 False Seven in 30 seconds. Free, one use. Any card that can play LM or LW (alternate positions count) and can't play CDM, rated 80 or lower, PAC 86 or lower, up to 7 PlayStyles and no PlayStyle+. 3 levels, 1 match each, no wins needed, in Squad Battles (Semi-Pro or higher), Rush, Rivals, Champions or Live Events. You get +6 OVR (cap 81), +7 Acceleration and Sprint Speed (cap 82), big dribbling boosts, First Touch, then pick Path A (Finishing, Power Shot), Path B (Passing, Tiki Taka) or Path C (Physical, Enforcer). Start by Monday 9 November, 18:00 UTC; finish by Monday 16 November, 18:00 UTC. Have a card with LM/LW and RM/RW on it? Run Rise From the Grave first: 1,208 cards reach 81 that way.

What is the FC 27 False Seven Evolution?
False Seven is a free, three-level Pathway Evolution, which means you choose one upgrade option at level 3. Its in-game description, reproduced on fut.gg, reads: "Develop a creative flank specialist who controls the match tempo and orchestrates attacks directly from the touchline." (fut.gg, False Seven)
EA doesn't publish an article for weekly Evolutions. The requirements, upgrades and deadlines below come from fut.gg's copy of the in-game Evolution data, pulled on 30 October, and match the level list Destructoid published on release night. The Evo was posted to r/EASportsFC by u/FIGJAM17 minutes after it went live.
What are the False Seven requirements?
| Requirement | Value |
|---|---|
| Position | LM or LW (alternate positions count) |
| Excluded position | CDM |
| Max OVR | 80 |
| Max Pace (PAC) | 86 |
| Max PlayStyles | 7 |
| Max PlayStyles+ | 0 |
| Cost | Free (0 coins, 0 FC Points) |
| Uses | 1 |
| Released | Friday 30 October 2026, 18:00 UTC |
| Start by | Monday 9 November 2026, 18:00 UTC |
| Finish by | Monday 16 November 2026, 18:00 UTC |
The position rule counts alternates, and that makes the pool far wider than the name suggests. Only 1,351 of the 3,645 cards are main-position LMs or LWs. The other 2,294 play one of those as an alternate, led by 888 left-backs, 395 strikers and 353 right midfielders.
The pool is almost all base items across bronze, silver and gold, plus 13 Team of the Week cards. Your own club is what counts, so confirm any card in the in-game Evolution preview.
What upgrades does False Seven give?
Each upgrade is a boost with a cap. Caps never lower a stat, so a card already above a cap keeps its own number.
| Level | Task | Upgrades (boost, cap) |
|---|---|---|
| Level 1 | Play 1 match | OVR +6 (81), Acceleration +7 (82), Agility +10 (82), Dribbling +10 (82), Reactions +10 (81) |
| Level 2 | Play 1 match | First Touch PlayStyle (only if fewer than 3), Sprint Speed +7 (82), Balance +10 (81), Ball Control +10 (82), Composure +10 (80) |
| Level 3, Path A | Play 1 match | Power Shot (only if fewer than 3), Finishing +8 (81), Positioning +8 (80), Shot Power +8 (80), Long Shots +8 (79), Volleys +8 (79) |
| Level 3, Path B | Play 1 match | Tiki Taka (only if fewer than 3), Crossing +8 (82), Short Passing +8 (82), Vision +8 (81), Free Kick Accuracy +8 (81), Long Passing +8 (80) |
| Level 3, Path C | Play 1 match | Enforcer (only if fewer than 3), Stamina +8 (81), Strength +8 (80), Jumping +8 (80), Aggression +8 (80), Heading Accuracy +8 (80) |
Every match runs in Squad Battles on Semi-Pro or higher, Rush, Rivals, Champions or Live Events, with your active Evo player in the game. That's 3 matches and 0 wins, and fut.gg rates its completion difficulty as Easy.
Does False Seven add a position or Role? No. Despite the name, none of the 3,645 evolved cards gained an alternate position or a Role+ or Role++ on fut.gg. A left-winger stays a left-winger.
75 is the lowest rating that reaches 81. With +6 OVR and an 81 cap, a 75 lands exactly on 81, and every rating from 75 to 80 finishes there. In the data, 373 cards finish at 81, while everything below 75 finishes 6 higher than it started.
Pace moves most on slower cards. 1,612 cards gain the full +7 face PAC and 449 gain nothing, because their pace stats already sit at or above the 82 caps. Across the pool, the median finished PAC is 81.
How does the False Seven PlayStyle cap work?
Each PlayStyle only lands if the card holds fewer than 3 when that level completes. First Touch is checked at level 2, then your path's PlayStyle at level 3. That gives three outcomes:
- 0 or 1 PlayStyles: gets both, unless it already owns one of them. That's 2,918 of 3,645 cards (80%).
- 2 PlayStyles: First Touch takes the third slot, so the path PlayStyle is blocked. If the card already has First Touch, it gets the path PlayStyle instead. Add the 13 cards with 1 PlayStyle that already own one of the pair, and 389 cards get exactly one new PlayStyle.
- 3 or more PlayStyles: gets neither. That's 338 cards.
The trap is who sits in that last group. The cards rated 75 or higher, the only ones that reach 81, are the ones that already have PlayStyles.
Of the 373 cards that finish at 81, only 135 (36%) gain both PlayStyles, 87 gain one and 151 (40%) gain none. That's not a reason to skip a 79 with six PlayStyles, since it already has more than the Evo could give. It does mean the path's PlayStyle shouldn't drive your choice unless the card qualifies. Check its PlayStyle count first.
Which False Seven path should you pick?
Path A for most attackers, Path B for full-backs and for any card whose shooting is already high. On fut.gg, each evolved card is listed with one path, and it's the path fut.gg's GG Rating scores highest. That's a rating, not a rule, but it's a useful guide:
| Main position | Path A | Path B | Path C |
|---|---|---|---|
| LM | 790 | 153 | 2 |
| LW | 386 | 18 | 2 |
| ST | 374 | 15 | 6 |
| RM | 314 | 36 | 3 |
| LB | 66 | 625 | 197 |
| RB | 16 | 100 | 20 |
| All 3,645 cards | 2,299 (63%) | 1,098 (30%) | 248 (7%) |
What each path does to the face stats, as medians across the cards listed on it: Path A adds SHO +7, Path B adds PAS +8, Path C adds PHY +8. DRI goes up +9 to +10 on all three.
Watch the path caps. Path A's caps stop at 79 to 81, so a card that already shoots well gains little. Denis Bouanga is the clearest example: he starts on 81 SHO and 71 PAS, so fut.gg lists him on Path B, which lifts his passing to 79. If your shooting is near 80, take Path B. If your passing is what's already high, take Path A. Path C suits a left-back or a wide target you want stronger and more durable, and it's the only path that touches Strength and Stamina.

Which players are best for False Seven?
These are the highest-rated 81 finishers on fut.gg's GG Rating, plus two picks that do get both PlayStyles. We've left out prices because they move daily, so check the market before you buy.
| Player | Base | Positions | Path | Finished PAC / SHO / PAS / DRI / PHY | SM / WF | New PlayStyles |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Denis Bouanga | 79 | LW (LM, CAM, ST) | B | 85 / 81 / 79 / 83 / 79 | 4 / 4 | None (has 6) |
| Keito Nakamura | 76 | LM (CAM, ST, LW) | A | 87 / 79 / 70 / 82 / 75 | 4 / 4 | None (has 5) |
| Kerem Aktürkoğlu | 79 | LM (CAM, ST, LW) | A | 86 / 79 / 75 / 83 / 58 | 4 / 3 | None (has 6) |
| Junya Ito | 76 | RM (LM, RW, LW) | A | 86 / 76 / 72 / 83 / 70 | 4 / 4 | None (has 7) |
| Salem Al Dawsari | 80 | LM (LW) | A | 86 / 78 / 75 / 84 / 80 | 4 / 5 | None (has 5) |
| Nikita Parris | 80 | LM (ST, LW) | B | 86 / 80 / 80 / 83 / 67 | 4 / 4 | Tiki Taka (already has First Touch) |
| Justin Kluivert | 79 | CAM (LM, LW) | A | 86 / 81 / 77 / 82 / 60 | 4 / 4 | First Touch + Power Shot |
| Mathys Tel | 78 | LM (CAM, ST, LW) | B | 86 / 80 / 77 / 82 / 64 | 4 / 4 | First Touch + Tiki Taka |
Best use of the boost: Nakamura and Ito. Both start at 76, so they lose only 1 OVR to the cap and arrive at 81 with 86+ PAC.
Best for a full-back: the 80-rated TOTW Samuel Dahl (LB, LM), if you own him, finishes on Path B at 86 PAC, 80 PAS, 77 DEF and 80 PHY. His 75-rated base card is also eligible but finishes at 81 with 84 PAC, 75 PAS and 68 DEF.
Can you chain False Seven with Rise From the Grave?
Yes, and it's the best free route in this Evo: 1,208 cards reach 81, starting from as low as 48. Rise From the Grave is a free Training Camp Evo for RM/RW cards rated 74 or lower with PAC 85 or lower, and it excludes CMs. It needs no matches, just 5 levels of 4 hours 48 minutes each, and takes every card to 80. A card that also plays LM or LW can then run False Seven for the final point.
The order matters. Rise From the Grave only accepts cards rated 74 or lower and caps at 80, so it has to go first. Reverse it and a card stops at 80, while anything rated 69 or higher leaves False Seven too high to enter it at all.
Fut.gg's chain calculator shows 1,208 cards at 81 in that order and 710 at 80 in the reverse order. 1,122 of the 1,208 finish on exactly 84 PAC. These are the top results on GG Rating:
| Player | Base | Positions | Path | Finished PAC / SHO / PAS / DRI / PHY | SM / WF |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Saba Lobjanidze | 71 | RM (LM, RW, LW) | B | 84 / 77 / 81 / 82 / 70 | 4 / 5 |
| Eduardo Salvio | 74 | RM (LM, RW, LW) | A | 84 / 80 / 76 / 82 / 71 | 5 / 4 |
| Wikelman Carmona | 68 | LM (RM, RW, LW) | B | 84 / 75 / 81 / 82 / 68 | 4 / 5 |
| Michele Šego | 73 | LW (LM, RW, ST) | B | 85 / 78 / 81 / 82 / 72 | 4 / 4 |
| Siriki Dembélé | 67 | LM (RM, RW, LW) | B | 85 / 76 / 80 / 83 / 67 | 4 / 5 |
Three things to know before you start:
- The path PlayStyle almost never lands. Rise From the Grave adds Quick Step and Technical, so most cards reach 3 PlayStyles once First Touch goes on. 910 of the 1,208 pick up First Touch, and only 22 pick up a path PlayStyle.
- False Seven closes first. Rise From the Grave stays open until 26 November, but False Seven has to start by Monday 9 November, 18:00 UTC, so finish the Training Camp before then.
- Preview it first. EA's help page says: "When you add another Evolution to the preview, available Evolutions are filtered using the Player Item's resulting stats." (EA Help, Ultimate Team Evolutions)
Can a full-back chain False Seven into Side Stopper?
Yes, but only until 18:00 UTC on 31 October. Side Stopper closes to new starts on Saturday 31 October at 18:00 UTC, and it caps at 83. Run False Seven first, and fut.gg's calculator shows 170 cards reaching 83, from bases of 73 to 80. Side Stopper first can lift these cards past False Seven's 80 OVR entry limit, and any reverse chain that does qualify finishes at 81 or lower.
Andrea Cambiaso and Carlos Romero, both 80, finish at 83 with 83 PAC on Path C, and the 79-rated Sergi Cardona finishes at 83 with 84 PAC. You'd need to clear all 3 False Seven matches before the deadline, then play 4 Side Stopper matches with 2 wins by Saturday 7 November. If you've missed the window, False Seven alone still takes those cards to 81.
What about Wicked Winger? The 900-token Evo in the Ultimate Scream Token Store takes RM/RW cards rated 82 or lower up to 85. A False Seven card that can play RM or RW looks eligible on paper, but fut.gg's calculator showed no chained results for the pair on 30 October. Check the in-game preview before spending tokens, and note the store closes on Friday 13 November, 17:59 UTC.
Is False Seven worth doing?
Yes, if you have a left-sided card rated 75 or higher, or a two-wing card to chain. It's free, takes 3 matches, needs no wins, and adds pace as well as OVR.
It's worth less if:
- Your candidate's Acceleration and Sprint Speed are already 82 or higher and it has 3+ PlayStyles. You'd mainly be getting the OVR and dribbling.
- Your best card is an 80. It gains just 1 OVR, though the attribute boosts still apply up to their caps, so compare it with a 75 to 77 you could use instead.
- You'd rather save the one use for a card that can run the Rise From the Grave chain.
No time for Evo matches? False Seven is only 3 games, but stacking it with Side Stopper and the rest of the week's Ultimate Scream objectives adds up fast. We can clear them for you:
- EA FC 27 Evolutions Boost — Evolution and Pathway matches completed on your account.
- EA FC 27 Coins — for a quick 75-rated winger to put through the Evo, or the squad around it.
FAQ
