Halloween 2026 Part I runs from Tuesday, October 27 at 10:00 a.m. to Sunday, November 1 at 10:00 a.m. local, then Part II takes over until Thursday, November 5 at 8:00 p.m. The headline day is the Chandelure Super Mega Raid Day on Saturday, October 31, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. local, where Mega Chandelure debuts. Origin Forme Giratina (5-star) and Mega Sableye arrive in raids on Wednesday, October 28, with Giratina Raid Hour 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. that day. What is in Pokemon GO Halloween 2026 Part I?
The official post is titled "Trick or Treat with costumed Pikachu, Zubat, and Sinistea during Halloween 2026 Part I!" and runs Tuesday, October 27 at 10:00 a.m. to Sunday, November 1, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. local (pokemongo.com). The key points, checked against the official post and two outlet mirrors when we wrote our full Pokemon GO Halloween event guide:
- Three new costumes, all Shiny-eligible from day one: Pikachu wearing a hat and capelet, Zubat wearing a top hat, and Sinistea wearing a bow.
- Where to find them: Costumed Pikachu and costumed Sinistea are one-star raid only. Costumed Zubat is a wild spawn.
- Other wild spawns: Duskull and Piplup in its Halloween Mischief costume, with a rare Drifblim in its Halloween Mischief costume.
- Trick or Treat surprises: event encounters plus Pikachu, Zubat and Sinistea Candy and Rare Candy.
- Music: the Lavender Town remix plays at night.
Practical tip: costumed Pikachu and Sinistea will not show up on the map no matter how long you walk. Spend your Raid Passes on one-star raids, which are cheap to solo, and save walking time for Zubat.
The shop adds a Gothic Skirt Set, Gothic Shorts Set, Gothic Socks and Gothic Boots for the event. They stay in the shop after Part I ends, so there is no rush.
GO Pass: Halloween 2026
GO Pass: Halloween 2026 runs from Tuesday, October 27 at 10:00 a.m. to Thursday, November 5 at 8:00 p.m. local, per the official Part II announcement. Reaching Rank 10 unlocks 2x Catch Candy and Rank 20 unlocks 2x Catch Stardust (3x each with GO Pass Deluxe), and unlocked rewards must be claimed by November 7 at 8:00 p.m. (Pokemon GO Hub). Deluxe costs US$7.99. Rank 20 is the one to rush. 2x Catch Stardust stacked on Saturday's raid day and next week's Part II is the best Stardust return of the month.
What are the Pokemon GO raids this week?
The raid rotation flips on Wednesday, October 28. Pokemon GO Hub's weekly schedule lists a 6:00 a.m. local start for the new bosses. Until then, Palkia and both Mega Charizards stay up. The official site has not posted a standalone raid post for this rotation, so the bosses below were checked against two independent outlets: Leek Duck's Giratina listing and Pokemon GO Hub's weekly schedule.

Origin Forme Giratina Raid Hour: Wednesday, October 28
Giratina (Origin Forme) Raid Hour runs Wednesday, October 28, from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. local time (Leek Duck, Dittobase). Leek Duck notes a Shiny Origin Forme Giratina is possible. It is Ghost and Dragon, so it takes super-effective damage from five types: Ghost, Dragon, Ice, Dark and Fairy. Ghost and Dragon attackers hit hard but take super-effective damage back. Dark and Fairy attackers are the safer core of a team. Giratina has huge HP, so do not try it with fewer than four or five strong players.
Mega Sableye
Mega Sableye takes the Mega Raid slot from Wednesday. It is Dark and Ghost, which in Pokemon GO leaves it with exactly one weakness: Fairy. Bring every strong Fairy attacker you own. Pokemon GO Hub's November calendar keeps it in Mega Raids until November 8, and in Halloween Part II it becomes the first Pokemon able to reach Super Max Level with the new Charged Attack Night Shade+ while Mega Evolved (pokemongo.com). If you plan to chase Super Max Level next week, raid it this week and stock Mega Energy.
Shadow Landorus: final weekend
Five-star Shadow Raids run on Saturdays and Sundays, and October 31 to November 1 is the last weekend for Shadow Landorus (Incarnate Forme). Pokemon GO Hub's November calendar lists Shadow Tornadus (Incarnate Forme) from November 3. Landorus is Ground and Flying, so Ice is doubly super effective and Water is the backup. Bring Purified Gems and a full group.
When is Max Monday and how do you beat Dynamax Sableye?
Max Monday is today, Monday, October 26. The Max Monday window has changed. Leek Duck's listing now reads: "Max Battles will be available from 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. local time on Mondays." Earlier in October it was a single evening hour. Pokemon GO Hub lists the same 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. window.
- Featured boss: Dynamax Sableye, which stays in the Max Battle rotation from October 26 to November 1 (Leek Duck).
- Monday bonuses: Power Spots refresh more often and extra Power Spots are active (Leek Duck, Hub). Pokemon GO Hub also lists 1 Rare Candy XL for each in-person Max Battle you complete on Monday.
- Cost: Pokemon GO Hub lists it as a three-star Max Battle costing 400 Max Particles that can be soloed. Particles are only spent if you win.
- How to win: Sableye is Dark and Ghost, so its only weakness is Fairy. Dynamax Gardevoir and Dynamax Hatterene with Max Starfall are the best attackers.

When is Spotlight Hour this week?
Gastly Spotlight Hour is Thursday, October 29, from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. local time, with a 2x Evolution XP bonus (Leek Duck, Pokemon GO Hub). The official site has not posted it separately.
This is the hour to burn evolutions for XP. Pop a Lucky Egg at 6:00 p.m. and it stacks with the 2x bonus. Gastly to Haunter costs 25 Candy. Bank Gastly and other cheap evolutions, then evolve them all inside the hour. Each new Pokedex entry adds even more XP.
What is the Chandelure Super Mega Raid Day?
The headline event of the week is the Chandelure Super Mega Raid Day on Saturday, October 31, 2026, from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. local time, per the official announcement. Mega Chandelure makes its Pokemon GO debut in Super Mega Raids.
Free for everyone:
- Up to 6 free Raid Passes from spinning Gym Photo Discs during the event
- Chandelure caught from these raids has Mega Level 1 already unlocked
- An increased chance to encounter a Shiny Chandelure
- Remote Raid limit raised to 20 from Friday, October 30 at 5:00 p.m. to Saturday, October 31 at 8:00 p.m. PDT
- A Global Challenge in the same window. Rewards run November 2 to November 15, and the amounts have not been announced
The paid option: a US$4.99 ticket raises the pass limit to 14 and adds +5,000 XP and +5,000 Stardust per Super Mega Raid won, plus a higher chance of Rare Candy XL. It does not include PokeCoins and can be gifted to Great Friends or better. Buy it only if you will run at least five raids. Leek Duck lists event Timed Research with a Tyranitar encounter, but that has not been confirmed officially yet.
How to prepare: Chandelure is Ghost and Fire, so Water, Ground, Rock, Ghost and Dark attackers all deal super-effective damage. Water and Ground are the safest picks, because neither Chandelure's Fire nor its Ghost moves are super effective against them. Its signature Charged Attack in Pokemon GO is Ominous Wind+.
What is in GO Battle League this week?
GO Battle League rotates on Tuesday, October 27 at 1:00 p.m. PDT to Master League and Mega Halloween Cup: Great League Edition, running through November 3, with 4x Stardust from win rewards (end-of-set rewards excluded) (Pokemon GO Hub, PoGO Calendar). This is Season 28 of GO Battle League, which started on September 8 with the Twilight Trails season.
Which events end this week?
- Palkia and Mega Charizard X and Y leave raids when the rotation flips on Wednesday morning. Tuesday, October 27 is your last full day.
- Halloween 2026 Part I ends Sunday, November 1 at 10:00 a.m. local. Part II starts at the same minute.
- Shadow Landorus (Incarnate Forme) has its last weekend of Shadow Raids on October 31 and November 1.
- GO Pass: October (Kyogre and the Lucky Trinket) stops earning GO Points on Tuesday, November 3 at 10:00 a.m. Pokemon GO Hub reports no daily GO Points limit on October 31 and November 1, so the weekend is the time to catch up. Unlocked rewards expire November 5 at 10:00 a.m. (Pokemon GO Hub).
- Minior Showers: Orionids already ended on October 24. The next shower, the Leonids, runs November 14 to 19.

No. October's Community Day was Zorua on October 10. Part II runs Sunday, November 1 at 10:00 a.m. to Thursday, November 5, 2026 at 8:00 p.m. local, per the official post. The highlights:
- Shiny Greavard debuts. Greavard evolves into Houndstone for 50 Candy.
- Mega Sableye can reach Super Max Level and use Night Shade+ while Mega Evolved.
- Wild Litwick, Rowlet in a Halloween costume and Greavard, with a rare Gengar in its Spooky Festival costume.
