Quick answer (last checked 24 October 2026, 08:35 UTC, Version 3.7 Phase II). The current Wuthering Waves banner is Version 3.7 Phase II, live since 22 October 10:00 and running until 11 November 2026 at 11:59 server time. It has three Featured Resonator Convenes: Suoming (new 5-star Electro Sword, "Nine Deaths, One Unbent Heart"), Lucilla (rerun, "Tomorrow in the Frame") and Lynae (rerun, "Undefined Spectrum"), with Lumi, Danjin and Chixia as the 4-star rate-ups. The weapon banners are Unspoken Rue, Freeze Frame and Spectrum Blaster, each a 100% guarantee. Phase I (Hsin, Chisa, Iuno) closed on 22 October. Two days in, WuWa Wiki now ranks Suoming SS as an Electro Unison sub-DPS and Game8 has her at Tier 1.5. Our verdict: pull Suoming if you own Hsin, Lynae if you want one flexible support, Lucilla only for Hiyuki or Echo Skill teams. Phase II events add 10 free Radiant Tides from logging in for 3 days. This page is refreshed in place at every banner change; the next is Version 3.8 on 12 November.
Every date, banner name and kit line below comes from Kuro Games' own Version 3.7 update notice (28 September), the 3.7 patch notes (30 September), Suoming's official Profile Reveal (18 October) and the Phase II Convene and events notices (20 October 2026). Where we give an opinion on pull value, we say so, and we lean on established community tier lists rather than inventing our own rankings.
What is the current Wuthering Waves banner?
The live banners are Version 3.7 Phase II. Kuro's Phase II Convene notice gives the same window for all six banners: "2026-10-22 10:00 - 2026-11-11 11:59 (server time)". That is 20 days in total, and about 18 left as of today.

4-star Resonator rate-ups (all three banners): Lumi, Danjin, Chixia. 4-star weapon rate-ups (all three weapon banners): Overture, Relativistic Jet, Amity Accord.
Four rules from the official notice are worth knowing before you spend:
- Pity carries over. The guarantee count "is shared among all Featured Resonator Convene events and is carried over until a 5-Star Resonator is obtained." Pulls you made on Hsin in Phase I still count here.
- One shared counter for all three character banners. Switching from Lynae to Suoming resets nothing, but the banner you are on when the 5-star lands decides who you can get.
- Weapon banners are 100% guaranteed. "The 5-Star Weapon you Convene is guaranteed to be" the featured weapon. No 50/50.
- Wavebands are on sale. Each featured 5-star's Waveband is in the Afterglow Coral Store with a limit of 2 purchases until the banner ends. All rate-up Resonators are also available as trials in Ascendant Aces, so test them before you pull.
What happened to the Phase I banner?
It is gone. Hsin ("As Full as Tonight, Forever"), Chisa and Iuno closed on 22 October 2026 at 09:59 server time, one minute before Phase II opened. Kuro has not announced a Hsin rerun. That matters for Suoming, because her best team is built around Hsin (see below).
Who is Suoming and what does her kit do?
Suoming is a 5-star Electro Sword Resonator from Mengzhou, the founder and Seal Master of the Ten Seals Covenant and Intendant of the Ministry of Sentinel Affairs. In her own words from the official character reveal, "Any enemy of Mengzhou is an enemy of mine."
Kuro's 3.7 patch notes list five combat roles for her: Concerto Efficiency, Basic Attack DMG, Unison, Electro DMG Amplification and Resonance Skill DMG Amplification. Hsin's list reads "Main Damage Dealer, Coordinated Attack, Resonance Skill DMG, Unison, Electro Flare". Hsin is the carry. Suoming is the character who makes Hsin, and Electro teams in general, hit harder.
The parts of her official kit reveal, "Power of Ten" (18 October) that matter for pull decisions:
1. She has two jobs, and Unison decides which one. Her Resonance Liberation gives her Unison for 5 seconds. With Unison she can:
- Swap out with her Outro Skill, gaining Aligned Seals and buffing the next Resonator, or
- Stay on field and cast Resonance Skill - Furled Canopy: Rift Cleaver, which removes Unison and grants Seal Master: her Unfurled Canopy basic attack multipliers rise by 100% and her Crit. DMG by 100% for 12 seconds or until she swaps out. Seal Master and Aligned Seals cannot be active together.
That is why guides call her a sub-DPS and a main DPS in the same breath. She does either, one rotation at a time.
2. Her Outro is a big Electro buffer. Officially: "The incoming Resonator gains 20% Electro DMG Amplification for 8s or until the Resonator is switched out. While having Unison Boon, they also gain 25% Resonance Skill DMG Amplification." If she swaps out within 8 seconds of her Resonance Liberation or Umbral Canopy: Engraved Heart while holding Aligned Seals, her inherent skill Sunken Seal, Forged Lock adds an Electro DMG Bonus of 30% to the incoming Resonator, "plus an additional 20% for each stack of Unison Boon they have, up to 40%."
3. Unison Response and Unison Boon tie her to Hsin. When the active Resonator has Unison and Suoming swaps in with her Intro Skill, the team gets one stack of Unison Boon for 30 seconds. Only Resonators that can trigger Unison Response benefit, at 3% total damage per stack, up to 2 stacks (Suoming herself grants 1). It cannot be triggered in Co-op.
4. She adds Coordinated Attacks. An Outro cast with Unison summons up to 6 Thunder Crests over 8 seconds, each a Coordinated Attack dealing Electro DMG.
5. Her resource is Delusion, capped at 800, which cycles her through Awakened Mind, Deep Mind and Calamity Mind and unlocks her empowered Resonance Skills.
What does that mean for Hsin?
Hsin has two Resonance Modes, Unison and Electro Flare. Suoming's 20% Electro amplification helps any Electro unit, but the 25% Resonance Skill amplification and the Unison Boon only land on a Resonator that can trigger Unison Response. In practice Hsin in Unison mode gets the full package; an Electro Flare Hsin gets the Electro buffs only. That is our reading of the official text, and it matches the community's best team: WuWa Wiki's top-rated Suoming team, recommended by 12 guides, is Hsin / Suoming / Shorekeeper, with Verina as the healer substitute.
How good is Suoming now that she is live?
Two days after release, the established tier sources have moved, but not all of them:

WuWa Wiki dropped the "provisional" tag it carried on day one, and puts her in the same SS group as Hsin, Lynae, Chisa and Shorekeeper. Game8's verdict is the most useful one-liner: "Suoming is a character worth pulling for if you wish to invest in the Unison composition." Prydwen's live review lands in the same place: "Either used as a good Main DPS or the ideal Unison Support for Hsin, there are ways to use her for beginners and veterans of the game alike."

Should you pull for Suoming?
Pull Suoming if you own Hsin and plan to run her in Unison mode. Every buff in Suoming's kit lands on a Unison Hsin, and that pairing is the team the guides agree on. If you missed Hsin in Phase I, there is no Hsin banner to fall back on right now.
Think twice if you do not run Electro. Her Electro DMG Amplification and Electro DMG Bonus are wasted on a Glacio or Havoc carry, and Unison Boon needs Unison partners. Seal Master gives her a solo damage mode, which is why Game8 calls her "serviceable on her own", but WuWa Wiki only recommends her as a main DPS while you are still building a roster.
Use the trial first. She is in Ascendant Aces as a Trial Resonator for the whole phase, and the banner runs to 11 November, so there is no reason to pull blind.
Is Unspoken Rue worth it?
Unspoken Rue is Suoming's signature 5-star Sword on its own Featured Weapon Convene, with the featured 5-star guaranteed.
Now that the weapon is live, the numbers are confirmed: 587.5 ATK and 24.3% Crit. Rate at level 90. Its passive, "Locked Thunder, Trapped Rain", gives 12% ATK (24% at R5) and, on gaining Unison, 30% Electro DMG Bonus for 30 seconds (60% at R5), plus a conditional team-wide Electro buff called Binding Mind. Those figures come from WuWa Wiki's live Suoming data.
WuWa Wiki's weapon ranking across 8 guides is Unspoken Rue first, then Red Spring and Emerald of Genesis, with Somnoire Anchor also named for budget main-DPS builds. Our advice is the standard one: character first, weapon second. Her Outro buffs come from her kit, not the weapon, so an S0 Suoming on Red Spring already does her support job. Buy Unspoken Rue only with Astrite left over after the characters you want.
Is Lucilla worth pulling in 3.7 Phase II?
Lucilla is a 5-star Glacio Rectifier on her first rerun, with Freeze Frame on the weapon side.
She sits near the top of both lists we track: Prydwen places her at T0 as a hybrid for Tower of Adversity, and WuWa Wiki lists her as one of four SS picks for Whimpering Wastes (with Chisa, Hiyuki and Sigrika), one step lower at S for Tower of Adversity. She is a dual-mode support: Glacio Chafe mode serves Hiyuki, and Echo Skill mode serves Echo Skill carries such as Sigrika.
Pull Lucilla if you own Hiyuki or an Echo Skill carry and lack her. Skip her if you run neither. Full echoes, weapons and teams are in our Lucilla build guide.
Is Lynae worth pulling in 3.7 Phase II?
Lynae is a 5-star Spectro Pistols user from Version 3.0, back on "Undefined Spectrum" with Spectrum Blaster.
She is the safest pull of the phase. Prydwen has her at T0 and WuWa Wiki at SS, and her buffs are not tied to one element: her Liberation gives the team 24% All DMG Bonus for 30 seconds, and her Outro gives the incoming Resonator 15% All DMG Amplification. That is why she fits Tune Break teams and generalist teams alike.
Pull Lynae if you do not own her and want one support that improves several teams. Skip her if you already have her. Her full setup is in our Lynae build guide.
What should you pull on the Phase II banner? Our pull order
Our recommendation, based on the official kits and the tier sources above:
- You own Hsin and run her in Unison mode: Suoming first.
- You skipped Hsin and want one flexible support: Lynae first.
- You run Hiyuki (Glacio Chafe) or an Echo Skill carry such as Sigrika: Lucilla first, especially if you missed her original banner.
- You are saving: skip all three. Version 3.7 ends at the 12 November maintenance, and Kuro reveals new Resonators through official previews before each version.
How many pulls do you need?
Kuro's official Convene rates are the same on all three Featured Resonator banners:

How many free pulls does Phase II give?
Kuro's "Upcoming Events in Version 3.7" notice lists the Phase II events, and three of them pay pull currency:

That is 10 Radiant Tides plus 800 Astrite (5 more pulls), so about 15 free featured Convenes from events alone, before daily activities and endgame modes. Lustrous Tide goes to the standard banner, not the featured ones. Chord Cleansing in the last week is the time to farm Suoming's Echoes.
What materials and Echoes does Suoming need?
Her official profile lists her ascension materials as Forged Empyrean's Sigh, Miasmic Branch and Howler Core, and her skill materials as Broken Wing Polarizer, Howler Core and Remnant of the Wheel. For Echoes, WuWa Wiki's 8-guide consensus is Heart of Sworn Vigil (5-piece), with Reminiscence: Suhsin the Inevitable as the main Echo; sub-DPS builds can run Soulfrayer as the main Echo or Moonlit Clouds instead.

Does pity carry over from Hsin's banner to Suoming's? Yes. Kuro's Convene rules say the guarantee count is shared among all Featured Resonator Convene events and carries over until you obtain a 5-star Resonator.
