Quick answer (last checked 31 October 2026, 08:40 UTC, Version 3.7 Phase II). Wuthering Waves has exactly one active in-game redeem code right now: WUTHERINGGIFT, worth 50 Astrite plus items. No 3.8 codes exist yet. The next batch is expected from the Version 3.8 Preview Special Broadcast on 6 November 2026 at 19:00 UTC+8 (11:00 UTC, 06:00 EST, 03:00 PST). Kuro Games also released one new code on 26 October, WuwaTappo, but it belongs to the free Wuwa Tappo desktop pet app: it pays a Yangyang collectible, not Astrite, and goes in the app rather than the game. Game codes are redeemed in the game only, with Union Level 2 required. Until the broadcast, two Phase II events paying 800 Astrite are worth far more than any code.
This page lists what works today, what the rewards are, when the 3.8 codes should land and the recent expired codes, so you are not pasting strings that were switched off weeks ago. Every entry was re-checked on 31 October against Kuro Games' own posts and trackers from separate publishers.
What Wuthering Waves codes are active right now?
One in the game. As of 31 October 2026, the only working Wuthering Waves code is WUTHERINGGIFT.
| Code | Rewards | Type | Status |
|---|---|---|---|
| WUTHERINGGIFT | 50 Astrite, 2 Premium Resonance Potions, 2 Medium Revival Inhalers, 2 Medium Energy Bags, 10,000 Shell Credits | Standing code | Active |
WUTHERINGGIFT is case-sensitive like every Wuthering Waves code, so paste it exactly as written rather than retyping it. It is the one string Kuro Games has left permanently on, which is why trackers call it the "beginner" or "welcome" code. If you have an account and have never claimed it, claim it now — it is free Astrite with no deadline attached. Each code works once per account.
Trackers disagree on two reward lines. Pocket Tactics, PCGamesN and Prydwen list 10,000 Shell Credits, while Game8 lists 15,000. PCGamesN also shows one Medium Energy Bag where the others show two. Kuro Games has not published the bundle, so we show the majority figures above. The 50 Astrite, potions and inhalers match everywhere.
What is the WuwaTappo code?
WuwaTappo is an official code from Kuro Games, posted on 26 October 2026 for its free desktop pet app, Wuwa Tappo. It gives one Yangyang: Classic collectible and no Astrite. Type it exactly as shown, because it uses mixed case.
| Code | Reward | Where to enter it | Status |
|---|---|---|---|
| WuwaTappo | Yangyang: Classic x1 | Wuwa Tappo app, Settings, Redemption Code | Active, no expiry |
The route matters. Kuro's official post tells you to enter it in the app, not in the game's Other Settings menu, and the collectible lands in your Wuwa Tappo Backpack rather than your in-game mail. Kuro's wording on how long it lasts is unusually clear:
"Each Rover can claim this gift once. The redemption code is valid permanently." — @Wuthering_Waves, 26 October 2026
The app is free from the official download page. If you only care about pulls, skip it. If you want a chibi Resonator on your desktop, it takes a minute.
Why are there so few active codes?
Because Wuthering Waves almost never runs permanent promo codes. Nearly all of its codes are livestream codes — short strings shown during a version preview broadcast that expire within about two days. Kuro Games drops them and closes them fast.
The Version 3.7 livestream on 19 September 2026 is the clearest recent example. It revealed three codes at once:
- FALLINGSANCTUM — 100 Astrite, 3 Premium Resonance Potions, 2 Advanced Revival Inhalers
- FINDSENTINEL — 100 Astrite, 40,000 Shell Credits, 2 Premium Enclosure Tank III
- WAKINGMOON — 100 Astrite, 20 Premium Tuners, 5 Advanced Sealed Tube
That is 300 Astrite total, and per the official @Wuthering_Waves post all three were "valid until 2026-09-21 08:59 (PT)" — a two-day window from the broadcast. If you did not claim them then, they are gone.
The pattern repeated in October. Two more codes, STARRYSTAGE2 and KEEPONSHINING (80 Astrite each), came with the Solaris Starry Stage livestream and expired on 13 October 2026 at 08:59 AM UTC-7. The Phase II launch on 22 October brought new banners and events but no new game codes.
What about the World Tour 2026 concert code? That one comes in the merchandise pack sold with concert tickets and unlocks a special in-game pack for that ticket holder, so it is not a public code you can copy from a list.
How do you redeem Wuthering Waves codes?
Codes are redeemed inside the game. There is no official Wuthering Waves redemption website, so any site asking you to log in to "redeem" a code on the web is not the real thing. Here is the in-game route:
- Press Esc (or open the menu on mobile) to open the Terminal.
- Select the cog / Settings icon at the bottom right.
- Open the Other Settings tab (the wrench icon).
- Under the Account section, select Redeem (also shown as Redemption Code).
- Paste the code exactly, one at a time, then hit Confirm.
- Return to the Terminal and open your mailbox to claim the rewards.
Two things to watch. First, you must have reached Union Level 2 before the redeem feature unlocks — new accounts hit that in the first few minutes of play. Second, the reward mail is automatically deleted after two weeks, so claim it promptly rather than letting it sit. Kuro Games also sends maintenance compensation to the same mailbox, so check it after every update.
Where can you get free Astrite in Phase II without codes?
From events, and they pay far more than WUTHERINGGIFT. Kuro Games' official Upcoming Events in Version 3.7 notice lists these Phase II events. Echo Erase, Land of Xuanfang and the login event are live now, and Chord Cleansing opens on 4 November:
| Event | Window (server time) | Headline reward | Unlock |
|---|---|---|---|
| Echo Erase | 22 Oct 10:00 – 9 Nov 03:59 | 400 Astrite | Union Level 14 |
| Beyond the Waves: Land of Xuanfang | 29 Oct 04:00 – 11 Nov 03:59 | 400 Astrite + 5 Lustrous Tide | Union Level 14 |
| Gifts of Singing Drizzle (login) | 22 Oct 10:00 – 11 Nov 03:59 | 10 Radiant Tide | Union Level 8 |
| Chord Cleansing (double Echo drops) | 4 Nov 04:00 – 11 Nov 03:59 | Echo farming boost | Union Level 19 |
That is 800 Astrite from two events — the equivalent of five Convene pulls — plus 10 Radiant Tides you can spend directly on the featured banners. Radiant Tides are the featured-banner pull currency, so the login event alone is ten free shots at Suoming, Lucilla or Lynae. Echo Erase closes first, on 9 November, so clear that one before the broadcast hype takes over. If you are deciding where to spend the pulls, our Wuthering Waves banner guide covers who is worth pulling this phase.
When do the Wuthering Waves 3.8 codes come out?
Expect them on 6 November 2026, during or shortly after the Version 3.8 Preview Special Broadcast, which airs at 19:00 UTC+8. That is 11:00 UTC, 06:00 EST, 03:00 PST and 14:00 Moscow time. No 3.8 code exists until Kuro Games shows it, so treat any string posted before then as fake.
| Broadcast | Official code post (UTC) | Codes | Valid until |
|---|---|---|---|
| Version 3.6 | 7 August 2026, 12:02 | 3, 100 Astrite each | 9 August 2026, 08:59 PT |
| Version 3.7 | 19 September 2026, 12:26 | 3, 100 Astrite each | 21 September 2026, 08:59 PT |
If Kuro repeats that pattern, the codes will be posted roughly 60 to 90 minutes after the stream starts, pay about 300 Astrite combined and last about two days. That is a projection from the last two broadcasts, not an announcement. Our 3.8 livestream page has the start time in every major time zone and the official watch links.
The timing also lines up with the end of the version. Phase II runs until 11 November at 11:59 server time (official Phase II Convene notice), and Kuro's official 3.7 update notice puts the end of 3.7 content at the 12 November maintenance. Kuro has not confirmed the 3.8 launch date yet, so 12 November remains the expected date.
How do we verify these codes?
We do not print a code from a single random site. A code is listed here only if it comes from one first-party source — the official @Wuthering_Waves channel, an in-game notice, or the livestream itself — or two genuinely independent third-party trackers that agree on the string and its rewards.
For this update, WUTHERINGGIFT was confirmed on Pocket Tactics (modified 28 October 2026) and Game8 (read 31 October), which belong to different publishers. PCGamesN, a Pocket Tactics sister site, agrees, as does Prydwen (updated 20 October). WuwaTappo comes straight from Kuro's official post. The 3.7 rewards and expiry are read from Kuro's own code card, which corrected the FINDSENTINEL rewards we listed before this update. We also scanned the 25 newest r/WutheringWaves posts on 31 October and none mentioned a new code. We never pattern-complete or shorten a code string, and we never publish anything from the leaks community as fact.
Which Wuthering Waves codes have expired?
All of these are dead. These are the recent ones, kept so you can tell at a glance that a string you saw elsewhere is no longer worth pasting.
| Code | Rewards (at the time) | Expired |
|---|---|---|
| STARRYSTAGE2 | 80 Astrite | 13 October 2026 |
| KEEPONSHINING | 80 Astrite | 13 October 2026 |
| FALLINGSANCTUM | 100 Astrite + items | 21 September 2026 |
| FINDSENTINEL | 100 Astrite + items | 21 September 2026 |
| WAKINGMOON | 100 Astrite + items | 21 September 2026 |
Older livestream and event codes — among them HEARTOFSWORD, ETERNALFLAME, THEANSWER, DARKSIDE, RABBITHOLE, PAPERPLANE, WARMSUNLIGHT, 1STANNIVERSARY, 2NDANNIVERSARY, WUWA4PC and the launch-era WUTHERINGWAVESGIFT — have long since expired as well. None of them work, whichever stale list still shows them.
What should you spend your free Astrite on this phase?
Phase II has three featured Resonators, and the honest answer depends on your roster. Lynae and Lucilla are both established top-tier sub-DPS picks; Suoming is strongest as a Unison partner for Hsin. For the full ranking see our Wuthering Waves tier list, and the Suoming, Lynae and Lucilla build guides cover Echoes, weapons and teams.
If nobody on this phase is a must-have, the broadcast is only days away and Phase II stays open until 11 November, so you can watch what 3.8 offers before you commit.
Are "free Astrite generator" sites or top-up resellers safe?
No. There is no Astrite generator, and any site promising free premium currency for your login or a survey is a scam that can cost you the account. Astrite is earned in-game or bought through Kuro Games' own official top-up; third-party "cheap top-up" resellers carry a real chargeback-and-ban risk and are not endorsed here. The safe free sources are the codes above, in-game events and gameplay rewards like the ones listed here, and the compensation Kuro Games mails out for maintenance.

FAQ
What is the active Wuthering Waves code right now? As of 31 October 2026, the only working in-game code is WUTHERINGGIFT, which gives 50 Astrite, 2 Premium Resonance Potions, 2 Medium Revival Inhalers, 2 Medium Energy Bags and 10,000 Shell Credits (Game8 lists 15,000). It has no announced deadline.
What does the WuwaTappo code give? One Yangyang: Classic collectible for the Wuwa Tappo desktop pet app. It gives no Astrite. Enter it in Wuwa Tappo under Settings, Redemption Code. Kuro Games says each Rover can claim it once and the code is valid permanently.
When do the Wuthering Waves 3.8 codes come out? Expect them on 6 November 2026 with the Version 3.8 Preview Special Broadcast at 19:00 UTC+8 (11:00 UTC). No 3.8 codes exist yet. The 3.6 and 3.7 code posts landed about 60 to 90 minutes after the stream started.
How long will the 3.8 livestream codes last? Kuro has not said yet. The 3.6 and 3.7 codes each lasted about two days, so plan to claim them on broadcast day.
Do the Version 3.7 livestream codes still work? No. FALLINGSANCTUM, FINDSENTINEL and WAKINGMOON (100 Astrite each) expired on 21 September 2026. The Starry Stage codes STARRYSTAGE2 and KEEPONSHINING expired on 13 October 2026.
Is there a Wuthering Waves code redemption website? No. Game codes can only be entered inside the game, under Settings, Other Settings, Redeem. Any "redeem online" site is not official.
Why won't my code redeem? The usual causes are an expired code, being below Union Level 2, a typo (paste rather than retype), having already used it on that account, or trying WuwaTappo in the game instead of the app.
