Your ARC Raiders stash starts at 64 slots and tops out at 328 through normal upgrades. On top of that, the Nomadic Envoys sell two +12 Stash Expansions for 200,000 and 400,000 item value. The second one is what r/ArcRaiders is asking about this week: are 12 extra slots really worth 400k of ARC parts? The answer has also changed, because Live Update 2.3.0 (October 27, 2026) disabled the Expedition Vault. That removes the old "buy the Vault first" advice. Below you'll find every stash upgrade cost in one table, the cost per slot of each one, what happened to the Vault, and a straight verdict on the 400k tier.
This full loadout costs $28.37 on Timesaver and is delivered within 1 hour — see all ARC Raiders prices.

Quick answer: is the ARC Raiders stash expansion worth it?
- Max stash: 328 slots from the 12 Speranza stash levels (64 base, +24 per level). Add +24 from the two Envoy expansions and up to +60 in Expedition bonus slots, and an account that finished all five Expeditions can hold 412.
- Buy the coin levels first. Every stash level up to Level 10 costs 12,500 coins per slot or less. The first Envoy expansion works out to 16,667 per slot, and the 400k tier to 33,333 per slot.
- The 400k tier costs about the same per slot as stash Level 11 (750,000 coins for 24 slots = 31,250 per slot). Pay with whichever currency you have piled up. If ARC parts are sitting idle in your stash, the 400k tier is worth it.
- The Expedition Vault is gone. 2.3.0 moved everything stored in it to your stash and refunded purchased slots as Bronze Statuettes. The wiki says Envoy trades now accept Bronze Statuettes.
- Reset risk is low right now. Envoy expansions and your stash level both reset only if you depart on an Expedition. Expeditions are paused, and Embark is aiming to bring them back in early 2027.
Stash numbers are from the ARC Raiders Wiki Speranza page. Envoy prices are from the Nomadic Envoys page. The Vault change is from the official 2.3.0 patch notes.
How much does every stash upgrade cost in ARC Raiders?
You buy normal stash upgrades with coins in Speranza. Each level adds 24 slots. Frozen Trail 2.0 added Levels 11 and 12, which raised the cap from 280 to 328. Here is the full ladder:
| Stash level | Stash size | Upgrade cost (coins) | Total spent | Cost per new slot |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Level 1 | 64 | — | — | — |
| Level 2 | 88 | 5,000 | 5,000 | 208 |
| Level 3 | 112 | 10,000 | 15,000 | 417 |
| Level 4 | 136 | 15,000 | 30,000 | 625 |
| Level 5 | 160 | 25,000 | 55,000 | 1,042 |
| Level 6 | 184 | 40,000 | 95,000 | 1,667 |
| Level 7 | 208 | 60,000 | 155,000 | 2,500 |
| Level 8 | 232 | 90,000 | 245,000 | 3,750 |
| Level 9 | 256 | 130,000 | 375,000 | 5,417 |
| Level 10 | 280 | 300,000 | 675,000 | 12,500 |
| Level 11 | 304 | 750,000 | 1,425,000 | 31,250 |
| Level 12 | 328 | 1,500,000 | 2,925,000 | 62,500 |
The jump after Level 10 is steep. Levels 11 and 12 together cost 2,250,000 coins, more than three times what you paid for Levels 2 through 10 combined. That's why the Envoy expansions are worth comparing against them.
What do the Nomadic Envoys stash expansions cost?
The Nomadic Envoys are the barter traders on Speranza's lobby floor. They unlock at Level 25. They don't take coins. You pay in ARC materials and weapons, and the price is set in item value. Ermal is no longer the trader: the wiki's patch history says Frozen Trail 2.0 replaced him with Cassio, who runs the same barter stall and also hands out some quests. Guides that still tell you to look for Ermal are out of date.
The Envoy stash service has two tiers:
| Envoy offer | Slots | Required item value | Item value per slot | Eligible payment |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Stash Expansion 1 | +12 | 200,000 | 16,667 | High-tier ARC parts |
| Stash Expansion 2 | +12 | 400,000 | 33,333 | High-tier ARC parts |
The wiki lists nine high-tier ARC parts for these trades: Assessor Matrix, Bastion Cell, Bombardier Cell, Leaper Pulse Unit, Rocketeer Driver, Turbine Compressor, Vaporizer Regulator, Matriarch Reactor and Queen Reactor. Envoy trades don't take weapon mods. If you trade in a gun, its mods are removed first.
How many ARC parts is 200k or 400k?
Item value is the value shown on the item card. The wiki lists these values for the most common high-tier parts. Here's roughly what each tier costs if you pay with one part type:
| Part (rarity, item value) | Parts for 200,000 | Parts for 400,000 |
|---|---|---|
| Bastion Cell (Epic, 3,000) | 67 | 134 |
| Rocketeer Driver (Epic, 3,000) | 67 | 134 |
| Turbine Compressor (Epic, 5,000) | 40 | 80 |
| Vaporizer Regulator (Epic, 6,000) | 34 | 67 |
| Queen Reactor (Legendary, 11,000) | 19 | 37 |
In practice you'll pay with a mix. Still, the table shows why the second tier feels like a wall. One player in this week's thread said 400k of ARC cores took much longer to collect than the coins for a stash level. Another, a week into the grind, was still 175k short.
What happened to the Expedition Vault?
The Vault let you store up to 5 items that carried over to your next Raider after an Expedition, at 200,000 item value per slot. Embark disabled it in 2.3.0. The patch note reads:
"We will be disabling the Expedition Vault and you will receive Bronze Statuettes as compensation for the purchased slots. Everything you had in the Vault will be moved to your stash."
— Embark Studios, ARC Raiders Live Update 2.3.0
What this means for you:
- Your Vault items are now regular stash items. They take up normal slots. With a nearly full stash, this is the week you'll notice it.
- Purchased slots were refunded as Bronze Statuettes. The Bronze Statuette is a Legendary trinket that sells for 10,000 coins, stacks to 25, and can be displayed in your Raider Den. Players in the refund thread said the statuettes arrive in in-game mail and have to be claimed there before they show up in your stash.
- You can spend them at the Envoys. The wiki's Nomadic Envoys page says Cassio accepts Bronze Statuettes as barter "for all trades, except those involving specific items." The Stash Expansion listing still names high-tier ARC parts as the eligible payment, though. Before you plan your 400k around statuettes, check the offer card in game to see whether they count.
- Don't sell them on autopilot. 10,000 coins each is a fair floor price. Their barter value at Cassio is the better use, as long as an offer you want accepts them.
The upshot: the old "Vault first, expansion later" buying order no longer applies. All the material you were saving for Vault slots can now go to stash space.

Does stash expansion reset? (permanent vs temporary slots)
There are three kinds of stash space, and they behave differently:
- Speranza stash levels (coins). These are permanent unless you depart on an Expedition. The Expedition reset table lists Stash Upgrade Progress as reset on departure.
- Envoy Stash Expansions (+12 / +12). These also reset only if you depart on an Expedition. The Envoy page says so directly: "This upgrade resets if the player departs on an Expedition."
- Expedition bonus slots (+12 per completed Expedition). These are kept through every reset and cap at 60 after five Expeditions.
So the common worry that the Envoy expansion "goes away" is only half right. Departing wipes your coin stash levels just like it wipes the Envoy slots. And departing is opt-in. Expeditions are paused while Embark reworks them. Embark's own wording when it announced the pause:
"The fifth Expedition will be the last one until early 2027, when Expeditions will return with major improvements."
— Embark Studios, The 5th Expedition
If you buy the 400k tier today, you keep those 12 slots for at least the next few months. That's the same timeline a commenter in the thread worked out ("update is hardly a month old"). If you never sign up for a departure, you keep them for good.
Is the 400k stash expansion worth it?
Yes, if you meet any two of these three conditions. Otherwise, skip it for now.
- You're at stash Level 10 or above. Every coin level up to 10 is cheaper per slot than any Envoy tier. Buying the 400k expansion while you're still at Level 8 means paying 33,333 per slot when 3,750 is on offer.
- Your high-tier ARC parts have no other use. If Bastion Cells and Turbine Compressors are sitting in your stash anyway, spending them on space frees 12 slots plus every slot those parts were taking up. That point came up first in the Reddit thread, and it's correct.
- You don't plan to depart on the early-2027 Expedition. If you do plan to depart, a 400k purchase gives you a few months of extra room and nothing after.
Envoy Tier 2 vs stash Level 11. The two cost almost the same per slot: 33,333 item value against 31,250 coins. Level 11 gives you 24 slots and the Envoy tier gives 12, so the real question is how much you have of each currency. Plenty of coins and few parts: buy Level 11. A pile of Epic parts and a thin coin balance: buy the Envoy tier. Level 12 at 62,500 per slot is the last thing to buy, once the other options are done.
Why the space matters more after 2.0. Frozen Trail added a lot of new loot that eats stash space: Amplification Module Mk. I–V, new weapons, Outpost Design items, plus the new 2.3.0 trinkets for Soul's Offering. Players chasing weapon amplification end up holding stacks of Amplification Modules between upgrades. That's what pushes a stash past 300.
Fastest way to fund the stash: what to farm
- Coins for Levels 10–12: sell your duplicate weapons and the trinkets you don't need for projects. Keep every Statuette until you've checked Cassio's offers.
- Item value for Envoy tiers: hunt the machines that drop the nine eligible parts. Use the Turbine Compressor (5,000) and the Vaporizer Regulator (6,000) for value per pickup. A Queen or Matriarch Reactor (11,000 each) is worth roughly four Bastion Cells. Our Turbine Compressor farm route covers the best item-value-per-raid loop.
- Check Cassio every week. The weekly offers rotate and include blueprints, Raider Tokens and project items. Don't spend parts on a stash tier in the same week a blueprint you need shows up.

FAQ
Can I buy this loadout instead of farming it? Yes: this loadout costs $28.37 on Timesaver, and a Timesaver pro completes it by hand within 1 hour. How handover works and what happens if something goes wrong: account safety.
Is it safe to buy ARC Raiders items from Timesaver? Every order is done by hand by verified Timesaver pros, with no cheats, bots or third-party software, and item orders need no access to your account. Embark's rules prohibit real-money trading, so the risk is not zero: since 2024 about 0.01% of our orders have led to sanctions. What is the max stash size in ARC Raiders? 328 slots from stash Level 12. The two Nomadic Envoy expansions add +24, and completed Expeditions add up to +60 bonus slots. A fully upgraded account that finished all five Expeditions holds 412.
Is the ARC Raiders stash expansion permanent? It lasts until you depart on an Expedition. Envoy expansions and your coin stash levels both reset on departure, while Expedition bonus slots are kept. Expeditions are paused until early 2027, and departing is opt-in.
Was the Expedition Vault removed? Yes. Live Update 2.3.0 (October 27, 2026) disabled it. Everything stored in it moved to your stash, and players who bought slots got Bronze Statuettes as compensation.
Where are my Bronze Statuettes from the Vault refund? Players report the refund comes through in-game mail and has to be claimed there before it appears in your stash. A Bronze Statuette is a Legendary trinket worth 10,000 coins that stacks to 25.
Where is Ermal? Ermal was replaced by Cassio in Frozen Trail 2.0. Cassio runs the same Nomadic Envoys barter stall on Speranza's lobby floor and unlocks at Level 25.
Should I buy stash Level 11 or the 400k Envoy expansion? The cost per slot is nearly the same (31,250 coins vs 33,333 item value). Pay with whichever currency you have more of. Level 11 gives 24 slots, and the Envoy tier gives 12.
What items does Cassio accept for the stash expansion? High-tier ARC parts only: Assessor Matrix, Bastion Cell, Bombardier Cell, Leaper Pulse Unit, Rocketeer Driver, Turbine Compressor, Vaporizer Regulator, Matriarch Reactor and Queen Reactor. Weapon mods are never accepted.
