The Blox Fruits Halloween event is live. It started on October 31, 2026 and brought back trick-or-treating, added a pumpkin hunt, and put Hellfire, a new Gas mutation, at the top of the Spooky Gacha. Gamer Robot previewed all of it in the official showcase, HELLFIRE HALLOWEEN EVENT – Blox Fruits, but the live event changed some of what that video showed, including the name of the currency.
This guide covers what's in the event now, how long you have, and what's still unknown. If you only care about the mutation, our Hellfire Gas guide has every route, the full moveset and current trade value.
Quick answer: The Blox Fruits Halloween event 2026 is live now and ends November 15, 2026 at 01:00 UTC, per the official Roblox event listing ("🎃 HALLOWEEN!", subtitle "Trick-Or-Treat Event"). The Spooky Gacha costs 500 Candy Corn per roll, with two rolls an hour. Candy Corn comes from pumpkins, Harvest Moon doors and bosses. The grand prize is the Hellfire Gas mutation, which you can also buy for 1,250 Robux if you own Permanent Gas. Drop rates haven't been published.
Everything below was checked on November 1, 2026 against the official event listing, the Blox Fruits wiki and Roblox's Games API. When we checked at 01:47 UTC, Blox Fruits had 277,877 concurrent players on the Roblox Games API (universe 994732206).

When does the Blox Fruits Halloween event 2026 end?
November 15, 2026 at 01:00 UTC. That's the end time on the official Roblox event listing. The event started on Saturday, October 31, 2026 at 14:00 UTC, an hour earlier than last year's start, so it runs for about 14.5 days.

Last year's event ran for a month, so this one is about two weeks shorter. Plan your Candy Corn grind around that. The showcase also displayed a 19d 15h countdown and a "500 Spooky Token" price. That was a test build. Many guides still say Spooky Tokens, but the Spooky Gacha page and players in r/bloxfruits both show Candy Corn in the live game.
What is the Hellfire mutation in Blox Fruits?
Hellfire is a Mythical mutation of the Gas fruit, the same way last year's Werewolf was a mutation of Tiger, and the wiki notes it's the first mutation not built on a beast fruit. It swaps Gas's purple smog for flames and a chainsaw, and its transformed form is a flaming, chained demon.
The screenshot above is from the pre-launch showcase, which still showed base Gas move names. The live kit has its own names:
| Key | Move | Mastery |
|---|---|---|
| Z | Infernal Rupture | 1 |
| F | Phantom Inferno | 50 |
| X | Hellfire Onslaught | 100 |
| C | Hellspawn Legion | 200 |
| V | Infernal Ascension | 300 |
The Gas power bar becomes a Hellfire Meter. Fill it and V transforms you. While transformed you can't use fighting styles, swords or guns until you press V again.
There are several ways to get it. The Hellfire wiki page lists the gacha, 1,250 Robux from the Gas mutation menu if you own Permanent Gas, the Soulfire Bundle for 3,499 Robux (2,800 with Roblox Plus held for over 2 months), a rare boss drop, and trading. One catch: eating a physical Hellfire gives only the mutation until you've switched to the original fruit or own Permanent Gas. Mastery doesn't carry over either.
If you're new to Gas itself, our Gas fruit guide covers the base kit, the Z-into-X combo and why it has no awakening.
How does the Spooky Halloween Gacha work?
The gacha is run by Zioles, at the usual Blox Fruit Gacha spots: Middle Town, the Café and the Mansion. It works like this:
- Cost: 500 Candy Corn per roll
- Limit: two rolls an hour, with a cooldown shared with the regular gacha
- Random physical fruit: above Common rarity
- Limited accessories: including the Coven Witch Hat, Pumpkin Mask and Mummy Headdress
- Profile backgrounds: Full Moon, Halloween Tapestry and Hallow Forest
- Limited potions
- Grand prize: a physical Hellfire
Rolling any limited-time item gives you an extra roll. Odds still aren't published, though the wiki says an unusually large number of players have pulled Hellfire, which may point to generous odds.
How do you get Candy Corn?
Candy Corn is the event currency, with a 5,000 cap on the wiki. Per the Candy Corn page and event notes, the main sources are:
- Pumpkins. They spawn on every island in every sea, at any time, and give around 2-5 Candy Corn. Some spawn a Jack O'Lantern, which drops around 4-7.
- Harvest Moon doors. Trick-or-treat at doors for the first 10 minutes of every hour. Door rooms and mini-games pay out here.
- The Hell Rider. A win pays 400 Candy Corn and a Candy Concoction.
At 2-5 per pumpkin, one roll takes roughly 100 to 250 pumpkins, so the Harvest Moon window and the Hell Rider are worth planning your hour around.
Is the Hellfire gacha pay-to-win?
That was the loudest argument in r/bloxfruits before launch. In one thread, a player put the complaint this way: "an event after a long time with only one good reward behind a paywall, thats p2w." Another replied that "you can get it from trading."
The live event answers most of that. The gacha runs on Candy Corn, which you earn by playing, and there is a Robux route for anyone who'd rather skip the grind. Nothing we've seen shows Robux spins on the gacha itself.
Pre-launch "20B" Hellfire figures haven't held up. On November 1, one tracker listed it at 1.68B and another hadn't priced it yet, so don't overpay on hype. Our Hellfire guide tracks that, and our Blox Fruits value list and trading guide cover the wider market.
What else is in the Blox Fruits Halloween event?
Hellfire is the headline, but the event has plenty more to do.
Trick-or-treating returns. During the Harvest Moon, players knock on doors around town. Some open rooms with NPCs and rewards, and others start fights. The bulletin says "Strange doors have begun appearing throughout the towns once again. With the return of the Harvest Moon, players can indulge in some trick-or-treating!"
Jack O' Lantern Hunt. You can break pumpkins for Candy Corn and Pumpkin Bits between Harvest Moons. Pumpkin Snowmen also spawn, dropping 2-10 Bits, a Cursed Pumpkin Seed and a random event potion.
A secret raid boss. Take 3 Cursed Pumpkin Seeds and 200 Pumpkin Bits to the Witch to reach The Great Pumpkin, a Lv. 3000 raid boss with 415,000 HP that drops the Great Pumpkin Top Hat.
New potions. The Witch's Craft menu in the showcase listed nine potions:
| Potion | Sold in 2025? |
|---|---|
| Big Head Elixir | Yes |
| Disguise Elixir | Yes |
| Lava Bomb Elixir | Yes |
| Monster Mash Elixir | Yes |
| Suspicious Growth Potion | Yes |
| Pumpkin Potion | Yes |
| Poltergeist Potion | No |
| Soul Swap Potion | No |
| Spooky Potion | No |
The wiki confirms the Soul Swap Potion costs 1 Cursed Pumpkin Seed and 100 Pumpkin Bits, so crafting it delays the Great Pumpkin. Other 2026 crafting costs are still being documented.
How did the Blox Fruits Halloween event work last year?
Trick-or-treating and the Potion Witch both came back from last year, so 2025 is a useful comparison. Halloween 2025 shipped as Update 28, the "Tiger Update", on October 31, 2025. It reworked Leopard into Tiger and added the Werewolf mutation (Fandom wiki: Trick or Treating, Halloween Gacha Dealer).
- Harvest Moon: started every hour at XX:00 UTC and lasted 10 minutes. You could only knock on doors while it was up.
- Door rooms: each door was a treat (currency) or a trick that summoned enemies, from 4 Cursed Skeletons up to 4 Snowmen.
- Raid boss: the Unbound Werewolf was a Lv. 3000 raid boss with 215,000 HP that dropped 400 Candy Corn.
- Gacha: 500 Candy Corn per spin, up to 4 spins an hour, with a 5,000 Candy Corn cap.
The 2026 gacha keeps the same 500 Candy Corn price and the hourly 10-minute Harvest Moon. The big changes are the two-roll hourly limit and pumpkins, which let you farm between Harvest Moons.

Who is the Hell Rider boss?
The new fire boss is the Hell Rider. It's the "towering creature wreathed in flame" from the bulletin, which warned players to "stay clear of any doors engulfed in strange flames". During the Harvest Moon, one random door burns. Opening it creates a portal to the boss arena, and multiple players can join the fight.
A win pays 400 Candy Corn and a Candy Concoction, per the wiki's event notes. Its level and HP aren't documented yet. Players report it spawning on private servers too, and last year's Werewolf boss can also still appear from doors.
Is the Venom or Shadow rework coming with Halloween?
No. The only fruit change in the event is the Hellfire mutation for Gas. There's no Venom rework and no Shadow ("dark") rework, which several players on r/bloxfruits complained about. If you paid a rework premium for Venom on rumors, that premium has no official backing.
How should you play the Blox Fruits Halloween event?
You have until November 15. Here's the plan:
- Be ready at XX:00 every hour. Harvest Moon doors and the Hell Rider are your best Candy Corn.
- Get your level up. The Great Pumpkin is Lv. 3000, so our Blox Fruits level 3000 guide will help if you're short.
- Roll twice an hour. Don't let Candy Corn sit at the 5,000 cap, because extra farming is wasted once you're full.
- Think before you eat Hellfire. A physical one can be traded, but it gives only the mutation until you've switched to the original fruit or own Permanent Gas. Our Gas fruit guide covers the base kit.
- Bring a group for the bosses. The bulletin says to "gather your friends", and last year's raid boss had 215,000 HP.
- Don't rush a Hellfire trade. Its value is still moving. Check several quotes before you agree.
Players who came back for last year's event should also read our Tiger fruit guide, since Werewolf is still a Tiger mutation.
Want Permanent Gas for the Hellfire route? It unlocks the 1,250 Robux mutation and lets you swap between both forms.
