Blox Fruits Update 30 official in-game countdown banner showing 1 HOUR until release

Applies to Blox Fruits Update 30, live since Sunday, September 5, 2026. Last verified: September 8, 2026 (3 days post-launch). Blox Fruits is an experience inside Roblox made by Gamer Robot Inc. — Roblox itself doesn't ship these updates, the developer does. Everything below is cross-checked against the official Update 30 event page on the game's Roblox page plus the developer's Update 30 trailer; movesets shown in a trailer can shift slightly at launch, so anything not yet in the live game is flagged as such.

Blox Fruits is having one of its biggest days of the year. Our live Roblox Games API pull on September 5, 2026 (13:33 UTC) showed 878,744 players in-game at once — one of the highest concurrent counts on the entire platform that morning — on top of 64.04 billion lifetime visits. That surge is the Update 30 hype wave: the official event page has drawn over one million interested players ahead of the drop. Below is the exact release time in every major timezone, the full Magnet fruit moveset and its Maximum Overdrive transformation, everything changing in the First Sea rework, and how the new Magnet event works. (New to how Roblox handles paid perks and Robux? Our guides on Roblox Plus and Robux to USD cover the basics.)

What time does Blox Fruits Update 30 come out?

Quick answer — Blox Fruits Update 30 releases Sunday, September 5, 2026, confirmed on the official in-game event page (the countdown banner in the game hub read "1 HOUR" on the morning of release). Go-live times: 8:00 AM PST · 11:00 AM EST · 3:00 PM GMT · 4:00 PM CET. The headline additions are the Magnet fruit (a new scrap-powered fruit with a "Maximum Overdrive" robot transformation) and a full First Sea (Sea 1) rework — redesigned islands, Island Secrets, a World Map star system, and island teleporters. There is also a limited Magnet event with its own token gacha. If the button says "Play" but the content isn't there yet, the servers are mid-rollout — give it a few minutes and rejoin a fresh server.

Here's the launch time converted across regions so you're not doing timezone math while the countdown ticks:

TimezoneUpdate 30 go-live
PST (Pacific)8:00 AM, Sep 5
EST (Eastern)11:00 AM, Sep 5
GMT / UTC3:00 PM, Sep 5
CET (Central Europe)4:00 PM, Sep 5
GMT+3 (Moscow)6:00 PM, Sep 5
AEST (Sydney)1:00 AM, Sep 6

The release was confirmed through the game's official Roblox event page, not a leak — which is the only source worth trusting for a start time. On rollout day, Blox Fruits servers update in waves, so the very first server you join may still be on the old version for a few minutes.

What is the new Magnet fruit in Blox Fruits?

Blox Fruits fighter surrounded by blue grid-like magnetic energy — the new Magnet fruit's tech-themed abilities in Update 30

The Magnet fruit is Update 30's marquee addition, and it doesn't play like anything already in the game. Its core mechanic is Magnetic Power — a stacking power meter that grows as you collect scrap scattered around the world. As your Magnetic Power climbs, the fruit's arms physically grow larger, your basic (M1) attacks hit harder, and your combos extend.

There are three Magnetic Power stages. The catch: it isn't permanent. Taking damage drains your Magnetic Power and can knock you down to an earlier stage, so the fruit rewards aggressive, uninterrupted pressure rather than turtling. Keep your power topped up and you're a very different threat than a Magnet user who just took a beating.

Magnetic Pull passive

Alongside the meter, Magnet has a passive called Magnetic Pull that scales with your Magnetic Power stage:

  • Stage 1: no additional effect.
  • Stage 2: nearby enemies are pulled toward you.
  • Stage 3: the pull grows stronger and covers a larger area.

That's what makes Magnet a genuine crowd-control fruit, not just a damage stick — at Stage 3 you're dragging groups of enemies (and players, in PvP) into your combos.

Magnet fruit moveset (Z, X, C, F)

Several Magnet abilities behave differently depending on whether you tap or hold the button. Here's the base-form moveset as shown in the Update 30 trailer:

KeyAbilityTapHold
ZScrap ArsenalLaunches magnetic projectiles that pull enemies in (they stack for more pull + AoE)Fires a focused laser at one target for bonus damage
XMagnetic OverchargeTraps an enemy in a magnetic cage for a few secondsCharged version: more range and damage
CPolarizing DropYanks an enemy up, then slams them into the groundAuto-gathers scrap to build Magnetic Power
F(Utility / flight)Grab an enemy — a successful catch forces them to unequip their swordFree flight (getting hit cancels it); press F again mid-air to fire your mechanical arms

The standout in this kit is the F grab that disarms swords — in a swordmain-heavy meta, forcing an opponent to re-equip mid-fight is a real tempo swing.

Magnet fruit Maximum Overdrive transformation

Blox Fruits armored mechanical fist strike — evoking the Magnet fruit's Maximum Overdrive robot transformation

Press V and the Magnet fruit transforms into Maximum Overdrive — your character becomes a robot that takes reduced damage and gains a rebuilt, heavier moveset with better mobility. The robot form also has special interactions with lightning attacks, and several transformed abilities cannot be cancelled once activated (that's a real commitment — don't fire them blind).

The transformed moveset:

  • Transformed Scrap Arsenal [Z]: tap fires aim-assisted missiles; hold fires a continuous straight-line blast that also works while flying.
  • Transformed Magnetic Overcharge [X]: tap fires a blast that explodes around the target; hold pulls nearby enemies in while dealing damage.
  • Transformed Polarizing Drop [C]: tap gathers a huge scrap pile and hurls it for AoE; hold becomes a spinning tornado attack around you.
  • Transformed F: keeps the sword-removing grab; hold for much faster flight.
  • V again: ejects you from the robot — it then pulls enemies toward itself and self-destructs for a final area blast.

Important: the transformed X and C abilities can't be cancelled once you start them, so read the fight before you press.

What's changing in the Blox Fruits First Sea rework?

Blox Fruits ocean combat scene against sea-serpent bosses — the First Sea that gets a full rework in Update 30

The Sea 1 rework may matter more long-term than the fruit itself. Instead of bolting new content onto the old world, Gamer Robot redesigned the First Sea's islands — more detailed, more visually developed, and easier to navigate. It touches systems new and returning players use constantly:

  • NPC dialogue options have been reworked.
  • Sword Dealers now let you examine a sword before buying it.
  • Boat Dealers let you inspect a boat before purchasing.
  • The HUD got an overhaul.
  • The Stats menu was redesigned.
  • The HUD and Stats changes also apply to the other seas, not just Sea 1.

If you quit Blox Fruits a couple of updates ago, this is the update that makes the early game look and feel modern again.

Island Secrets, the World Map & teleporters

The most interesting Sea 1 addition is Island Secrets — hidden interactions, small puzzles, and challenges tucked around each island. Some reward Potions; some trigger hidden Boss encounters; and completing them can grant experience past the normal level ceiling — Update 30 raised the cap to 3000 (up from 2800), giving high-level players a concrete new milestone. There are 40 Island Secrets total across Sea 1, three per island. They're optional, but worth chasing.

They also feed a new World Map with an island star system. Each island holds three secrets:

StarsMeaning
★☆☆1 secret found
★★☆2 secrets found
★★★all 3 secrets completed

Rack up enough progress across islands and you unlock island teleporters — fast travel between Sea 1 islands instead of endlessly re-sailing. That gives Island Secrets an actual purpose beyond collectibles, and it's a genuine quality-of-life win for anyone farming or backtracking.

How does the Magnet event work?

Update 30 ships a limited-time Magnet Night Event tied to the new fruit. It doesn't run all day — it fires at exactly the top of every hour (XX:00) and lasts 10 minutes. The sky shifts to a galaxy blue the moment it starts, so you never have to watch a countdown timer. Miss the window? You're waiting for the next XX:00 mark.

During the event, standard NPCs across the world are replaced by [Magnetized] enemies — blue aura, metal hands — and rarer [Overcharged Magnetized] versions that hit harder and hold more health. Both types use Magnet fruit abilities. They scale to your level, so players at any point in the game can participate. Killing normal (non-blue-aura) enemies drops nothing — only the [Magnetized] tag enemies count.

Defeating them drops Magnetic Tokens: 17–35 per kill, with most players reporting 20–25. One critical detail: payouts taper as the window runs down — early kills average 24–25 tokens, while kills in the final 2–3 minutes often drop to 16–17. Front-load your route rather than saving the densest islands for the end. Magnetized enemies spawn roughly 2–3 per island; once cleared, a normal NPC respawns in their place, not another Magnetized one.

DetailWhat to know
Event timingEvery hour at XX:00, lasts exactly 10 minutes
Enemy types[Magnetized] standard NPCs + [Overcharged Magnetized] elites
Token drop rate17–35 per kill; most kills yield 20–25
Spawn density~2–3 Magnetized enemies per island, then done for that window
Gacha dealer locationZioles now stands in Middletown (First Sea) — Update 30 moved him there
Roll cost500 Magnet Tokens per roll
Gacha cooldown2 hours, shared with the standard Blox Fruit Gacha

The Magnet Gacha reward pool includes uncommon-or-better Fruits (commons excluded — including Dragon East and Dragon West), two limited event accessories, one profile background, one secret reward, and a chance at the Chromatic Gacha Box holding seven new fruit skins. Landing any limited item grants a bonus roll immediately, so a lucky pull effectively doubles your visit. The gacha cooldown (2 hours) runs independently of the event frequency (every hour), so the off-event hour is your free banking window. One meaningful design note: the event gacha does not let you roll Common fruits, so the Magnetic Token pool is its own thing rather than a repackaged fruit-roll. As with any Blox Fruits event, treat any published "X% chance" figure as a community estimate until the developer publishes official rates — don't spend real money chasing odds nobody has confirmed. For full drop tables and a token-to-roll calculator, see our dedicated Magnet Tokens farming guide.

How to get Magnet Tokens fast in Blox Fruits

At roughly 22 tokens per kill, a single gacha roll costs about 23 Magnetized enemy kills — achievable in one efficient 10-minute window. The bottleneck isn't the enemies; it's travel time. Each island gives you 2–3 spawns, so you need to chain 6–8 islands per window to maximize your haul:

  • Portal fruit first, everything else second. Portal turns a 10-minute window into six or seven islands cleared. Portal users regularly bank 500–600 tokens per event; boat users struggle to break 300. If you don't have Portal, the island teleporters unlocked via Island Secrets (the new World Map feature) are your next best alternative.
  • Plan your route before the window opens. Walk the islands during the idle 50 minutes between events. Magnetized enemies almost always appear among the lowest-level mob groups on each island.
  • Never backtrack. Once you clear an island's Magnetized enemies, it's done for that window. Returning costs 20–30 seconds for nothing.
  • Hit dense islands early. Payouts taper as the window runs down — front-load Pirate Village and Jungle, and leave Volcano (only ~5 NPCs total) for last where lower payouts matter least.
  • Don't visit the gacha mid-event. A trip to Middletown costs you a whole island. Spend tokens after the window closes.
  • Use Instinct to spot enemies through buildings. The [Magnetized] tag shows in the nameplate — Instinct lets you detect them without circling the whole island.

The recommended First Sea farming route: Jungle → Pirate Village → Pirate Starter Island → Desert → Underwater City → Volcano. This order keeps you moving outward and puts the thinnest island last. Middletown itself has no farmable Magnetized groups — go there only to roll after the event ends. Hoarding a large token balance won't speed up your rolls, because the 2-hour gacha cooldown — not your balance — is the real limit.

Should you grind for the Magnet fruit or trade for it?

Two honest paths:

  • Grind it in-game. New fruits usually rotate into the Blox Fruit Dealer's stock and spawn cycle after launch. If you're set on earning it, load up on time during the fresh-patch window when everyone's exploring the new Sea 1 anyway. It also helps to know what your current fruits are worth before Update 30 shakes up the meta — our Blox Fruits value list tracks the trading tiers.
  • Skip the grind. If your time's tight and you'd rather jump straight into the new content or keep an account leveled, a legit boosting or leveling service does the farming for you.

If you go the service route, use one that works entirely inside the game — leveling, quest completion, boss/raid help — and never trades Robux or items off-platform. Buying, selling, or trading Robux or virtual items outside Roblox is an explicit Terms of Use violation with active enforcement, and it's not worth risking your account over.

FAQ

How do you get Magnet Tokens in Blox Fruits? Defeat [Magnetized] enemies (blue aura, metal hands) during the Magnet Night Event, which fires every hour at the XX:00 mark and lasts exactly 10 minutes. Each kill drops 17–35 tokens (typically 20–25). Payouts taper near the end of the window, so clear dense islands like Pirate Village and Jungle first. Regular non-blue-aura enemies drop nothing. Once you have 500 tokens, take them to Zioles in Middletown (First Sea) to roll the Magnet Gacha.

Where is the Blox Fruits Gacha Dealer in Update 30? Update 30 moved the Blox Fruits Gacha Dealer — Zioles — to Middletown in the First Sea. To roll the Magnet Gacha, talk to Zioles, choose the Magnet Event option (not the standard fruit roll), and press the 500 Magnet Token button. Rolls are on a 2-hour cooldown shared with the standard Blox Fruit Gacha.

What time does Blox Fruits Update 30 release? Sunday, September 5, 2026, at 8:00 AM PST / 11:00 AM EST / 3:00 PM GMT / 4:00 PM CET, per the official in-game Update 30 event page. Servers update in waves, so if your first server is still on the old version, rejoin a fresh one after a few minutes.

What is the new fruit in Blox Fruits Update 30? The Magnet fruit — a scrap-powered fruit with a stacking Magnetic Power meter (three stages), a Magnetic Pull passive that drags enemies in, and a Maximum Overdrive V-transformation that turns you into a heavier-hitting robot. Its moveset is built around magnetic projectiles, cages, scrap gathering, disarming grabs, and flight.

Is Blox Fruits Update 30 the same as Update 32? No — despite some trackers referencing a future "Update 32," the developer's own event page and trailer label this drop Update 30, and it's the one going live on September 5, 2026. Community sites number Blox Fruits updates inconsistently; go by the in-game event page, which is the developer's own source.

Does the Magnet fruit have a transformation? Yes. Pressing V activates Maximum Overdrive, a robot form with reduced damage taken, rebuilt abilities, better mobility, and special interactions with lightning. Pressing V again ejects you and self-destructs the robot for a final area blast. Note that the transformed X and C abilities can't be cancelled mid-cast.

What's new in the First Sea rework? Redesigned Sea 1 islands, updated NPC dialogue, sword/boat inspection before buying, a new HUD and Stats menu (applied to all seas), plus Island Secrets, a World Map with a three-star-per-island system, and unlockable island teleporters for fast travel.

What is the new Blox Fruits level cap in Update 30? Update 30 raised the maximum level to 3000, up from 2800. Progress past the old cap requires completing Island Secrets in the reworked First Sea; these hidden interactions and challenges feed XP that pushes you into the new bracket.

How many Island Secrets are there in the Blox Fruits First Sea rework? There are 40 Island Secrets across Sea 1, with three secrets per island. Completing all three earns a full three-star rating for that island on the new World Map, and finishing enough secrets across multiple islands unlocks island teleporters for fast travel.

Are there new Blox Fruits codes with Update 30? New EXP and stat-reset codes usually drop around a major update, but never trust a code you haven't seen in the developer's own channels — codes expire without warning and fake "free fruit" codes don't exist. Bookmark our working Blox Fruits codes list, which we keep current, and check the developer's official announcements at launch rather than aggregator lists.
