The four Dead by Daylight Shrine of Secrets perk icons for 3 to 10 November 2026: Flip-Flop, No Way Out, A Nurse's Calling and Hyperfocus, each at 2,000 Iridescent Shards

The Shrine of Secrets rolled over at 15:00 UTC on Tuesday 3 November 2026, the same day Haunted by Daylight ended. This week is the opposite of last week's: two of the four perks are licensed, and one of them is a top-15 Survivor perk that most players can only get by buying a Resident Evil chapter.

Here is the live rotation, the reset time in your timezone, every Shard price, live pick rates, the Stake Out trap that changes how Hyperfocus plays since Patch 10.2.0, and a straight verdict on each perk.

Quick answer

The current Shrine of Secrets went live on Tuesday 3 November 2026 at 15:00 UTC and expires on Tuesday 10 November 2026 at 15:00 UTC. It contains Flip-Flop (Ash Williams), No Way Out (The Trickster), A Nurse's Calling (The Nurse) and Hyperfocus (Rebecca Chambers). Flip-Flop and Hyperfocus are licensed, so the Shrine is the only way to get them without buying their chapters. Each costs 2,000 Iridescent Shards at Tier I, and the Shrine lives in the Character Lobby, not the Store. Survivors: buy Hyperfocus. It is the 14th most-used Survivor perk on NightLight at 6.93% of Survivor loadouts. Killers: A Nurse's Calling is the better buy, No Way Out second. Skip Flip-Flop.

What is in the DBD Shrine of Secrets this week?

No Way OutKillerThe Trickster2,000 Iridescent ShardsNo
A Nurse's CallingKillerThe Nurse2,000 Iridescent ShardsNo

The rotation was read from the dbd.tricky.lol Shrine API (Shrine number 617, start 15:00 UTC 3 November) and checked against NightLight's perk pages. Both show the same four perks at 2,000 Shards each.

None of this week's four perks were changed in Patch 10.2.0 (6 October) or the 10.2.x bugfixes since. The values below come from Behaviour's live notes on Steam and the current tracker data.

What does each perk do on the live build?

Flip-Flop (Ash Williams). While you are in the dying state, 50% of your recovery progress is turned into wiggle progress when the Killer picks you up, up to 40/45/50%.

No Way Out (The Trickster). You earn 1 Token the first time you hook each Survivor. Once all Generators are done, the first time a Survivor starts opening an Exit Gate, both switches are blocked for 12 seconds plus 6/9/12 seconds per Token, and you get a Loud Noise notification. With all four Survivors hooked at Tier III that is 12 + 48 = 60 seconds.

A Nurse's Calling (The Nurse). Within 28/30/32 metres you see the Auras of Survivors who are healing or being healed.

Hyperfocus (Rebecca Chambers). Each great basic Skill Check earns 1 Token, up to 6. Each Token makes basic Skill Checks appear 4% more often and spin 4% faster, and every great gives 10/20/30% more bonus progress per Token. A missed check, a good (not great) check, or stopping the repair or heal wipes all Tokens.

Which A Nurse's Calling range is right: 20/24/28 or 28/30/32 metres?

28/30/32 metres. Many guides and The Nurse's own wiki page still print 20/24/28, which is an old value. Patch 10.1.0 (25 August 2026) set the live wording: "Within 28/30/32m of Survivors who are healing or being healed, you see their Auras. (Reveals all Survivors in a healing interaction, regardless of their health state)". NightLight's change history shows the same buff, "Increased range to 28/30/32 metres (was 20/24/28)".

The 10.1.0 rule also matters: it reveals every Survivor in a healing interaction, whatever their health state, so a Survivor using a Medkit on themselves counts too.

Does Hyperfocus still work with Stake Out after Patch 10.2.0?

Official Dead by Daylight screenshot of the Hyperfocus perk: Rebecca Chambers repairing a Generator in Raccoon City

Not the way it used to. Before 10.2.0, Stake Out turned good Skill Checks into great ones, which fed Hyperfocus Tokens for free. Patch 10.2.0 reworked Stake Out: while it has Tokens, basic Skill Checks are replaced by special Skill Checks worth +4% progress. Behaviour's dev note in the live notes is direct: "The Special Skill Check is more difficult and no longer activates other Skill Check perks."

So every check Stake Out converts is a check that does not build Hyperfocus. Behaviour also cut a second Hyperfocus partner in the same patch. On This is Not Happening it wrote: "Due to it's synergy with Hyperfocus, we're removing the bonus to the Great zone from This is Not Happening."

Yet players have not moved on. On NightLight, Stake Out is still on 52.32% of Hyperfocus loadouts, and Deja Vu on 44.73%. If you buy Hyperfocus this week, pair it with something that does not touch Skill Checks. The perk itself is unchanged: hit greats in a row, and at 6 Tokens Tier III gives 180% bonus progress on each great.

One more thing to know before spending Shards: Behaviour's 22 October stream recap named Hyperfocus among about 15 perks planned for changes in Patch 10.4.0 (January 2027). It has not said what the change is.

How popular are this week's Shrine perks?

These are NightLight's 14-day usage figures, captured at about 15:40 UTC on 3 November 2026:

PerkShare of loadouts (14 days)Rank in its role
Hyperfocus6.93% of Survivors14th of all Survivor perks
A Nurse's Calling6.36% of Killers16th of all Killer perks
No Way Out4.08% of Killers24th
Flip-Flop1.12% of Survivors73rd

NightLight's own line on the headline perk: "In the last 14 days, 6.93% of Survivors have had it equipped making it the 14th most used Survivor perk in that time."

NightLight's numbers come from players who log their matches with the tracker, so read them as a strong signal, not a census. Our DBD kill rates and pick rates breakdown covers what Behaviour itself publishes.

Why is Hyperfocus the Survivor buy of the week?

It is licensed. Rebecca Chambers came with Resident Evil: PROJECT W, so you cannot buy her with Iridescent Shards. Without the Shrine, the only route to Hyperfocus is paying for the chapter. This week, 2,000 Shards unlocks Tier I on every Survivor.

It is a top-15 perk. About one Survivor loadout in fourteen runs it. It suits players who hit greats reliably, and it pays most in Generator-speed builds.

Is A Nurse's Calling or No Way Out the better Killer buy?

Official Dead by Daylight screenshot of the A Nurse's Calling perk: two Survivors healing each other, their Auras shown in red through a wall

A Nurse's Calling. It is the 16th most-used Killer perk, and it works all match: every heal near you becomes free information. NightLight's co-usage table shows how it is built. Lethal Pursuer sits on 39.26% of A Nurse's Calling loadouts, Gearhead on 25.39% and Nowhere to Hide on 14.92%. Our guide to the best Killer Aura-reading perks covers those builds. The Nurse is part of the base game, so you can also unlock it through her Bloodweb, but the Shrine skips the prestige grind.

No Way Out is the 24th most-used Killer perk and the best pick for end-game builds. It only works once Generators are done, so its value depends on hooking all four Survivors early for the full 60 seconds at Tier III. Its common partners show the plan: Hex: No One Escapes Death (24.88%), Scourge Hook: Pain Resonance (22.2%) and Remember Me (20.16%). The Trickster costs 4,500 Iridescent Shards, so the Shrine is the cheaper way to get the perk on every Killer. Our Trickster guide covers The Trickster himself.

Should Survivors buy Flip-Flop?

Only for a dedicated wiggle build. Flip-Flop is on 1.12% of Survivor loadouts, 73rd of all Survivor perks. It only helps if you recover on the ground before the pickup, and the cap is 50% wiggle at Tier III. Its common partners make the build clear: Boil Over (49.68%), Power Struggle (47.51%) and Unbreakable (46.87%). Ash is licensed, so this week is a cheap way to test it, but most players should save the Shards.

When does the DBD Shrine of Secrets reset?

Every Tuesday at 15:00 UTC. Not Wednesday. Patch 6.7.0 moved the Shrine off its old Wednesday 00:00 UTC slot, and many pages still list the old time. The clocks have now changed in both Europe and North America, so next week's times match this week's:

Japan (JST)00:00 Wednesday00:00 Wednesday
Sydney (AEDT)02:00 Wednesday02:00 Wednesday

The in-game Shrine screen always shows a live countdown labelled "RESETS IN", so check that rather than trusting memory.

How much does a Shrine perk cost in Iridescent Shards?

Each tier has its own price, and tiers must be bought in order unless a lower tier already came from prestige. The wiki's Patch 6.1.0 change log is explicit: "Perk Tiers must be purchased in sequence, unless a Tier was already unlocked through the Prestige System."

Perk tierDefault costIf Tier I came from prestigeIf Tier II came from prestige
Tier I2,000 Iridescent Shards——
Tier II4,000 Iridescent Shards2,000 Iridescent Shards—
Tier III6,000 Iridescent Shards4,000 Iridescent Shards2,000 Iridescent Shards

So with no prestige on the owner, maxing a Shrine perk costs 12,000 Iridescent Shards. For Hyperfocus the tier matters, because it scales the bonus progress from 10% to 30% per Token. Every purchase unlocks the perk for every Killer or every Survivor you own. Our guide to how to get Iridescent Shards and what each level pays has the earn-rate maths.

Can you turn Iridescent Shards into Bloodpoints at the Shrine?

Yes, but it is capped. If a Shrine perk is already Tier III on your account, buying it again gives you 100,000 Bloodpoints instead, once per perk per rotation, so the weekly ceiling is 400,000. It is rarely a good trade. If Bloodpoints are your bottleneck, read our guide to the Bloodpoint cap and how to farm it fast.

Where is the Shrine of Secrets in Dead by Daylight?

It is not in the in-game Store. Patch 7.7.0 moved it into the Character Lobbies, next to the Loadout and the Bloodweb. Open it from the left-hand panel of the Play as Killer or Play as Survivor screen.

Can you predict next week's Shrine?

No. Selection is random, with a few documented rules:

  • Two and two. Always two Survivor perks and two Killer perks.
  • A three-Shrine cooldown. A perk that appears cannot return for at least the next three rotations. Last week's Hex: Ruin, Discordance, Built to Last and Streetwise are locked out of next week's Shrine.
  • Global sync. Every platform sees the same four perks at the same moment.
  • Tome exception. If a rotation lines up with a Tome Level whose Master Challenges need specific perks, the Shrine stocks those perks.

Any site selling a Shrine prediction is selling a guess. We refresh this page every Tuesday after the reset.

Should you buy anything from this week's Shrine?

  • Hyperfocus — buy it. The 14th most-used Survivor perk at 6.93%, and licensed, so the Shrine is the only Shard route. Do not pair it with Stake Out.
  • A Nurse's Calling — buy it. The 16th most-used Killer perk, live at 28/30/32 metres.
  • No Way Out — buy it for end-game builds. Up to 60 seconds of blocked Exit Gates at Tier III.
  • Flip-Flop — skip unless you run a wiggle build. 1.12% usage.

For building a loadout, our ranked lists are a better start than any single Shrine: the best Killer perks and the best Survivor perks for 2026.

FAQ

What is in the DBD Shrine of Secrets this week? From 15:00 UTC on Tuesday 3 November 2026 until 15:00 UTC on Tuesday 10 November 2026, the Shrine holds Flip-Flop (Ash Williams), No Way Out (The Trickster), A Nurse's Calling (The Nurse) and Hyperfocus (Rebecca Chambers). Each starts at 2,000 Iridescent Shards. Flip-Flop and Hyperfocus are licensed perks.

Is Hyperfocus worth buying from the Shrine? Yes. It is the 14th most-equipped Survivor perk over the last 14 days, on 6.93% of Survivor loadouts according to NightLight, and Rebecca Chambers cannot be bought with Shards. Since Patch 10.2.0, Stake Out's special Skill Checks no longer activate other Skill Check perks, so do not build it with Stake Out.

What range does A Nurse's Calling have now? 28/30/32 metres since Patch 10.1.0, and it reveals every Survivor in a healing interaction regardless of health state. Pages that list 20/24/28 metres are out of date.

What time does the Shrine of Secrets reset? Every Tuesday at 15:00 UTC. On 10 November 2026 that is 07:00 Pacific, 10:00 Eastern, 15:00 in the UK and 16:00 in Central Europe.

How much do Shrine of Secrets perks cost? Tier I is 2,000 Iridescent Shards, Tier II is 4,000 and Tier III is 6,000, bought in order, so a full Tier III perk costs 12,000 Shards. Prestiging the owner lowers the later tiers.

Can you get Bloodpoints from the Shrine of Secrets? Yes. Buying a perk you already have at Tier III gives 100,000 Bloodpoints instead, once per perk per rotation, so the weekly maximum is 400,000.

Where do I find the Shrine of Secrets? In the Character Lobby, from the left-hand panel of the Play as Killer or Play as Survivor screen. Patch 7.7.0 moved it out of the in-game Store.
