When does Delta Force Season Aurora start?
Season Aurora starts on Tuesday, November 10, 2026. Team Jade announced the date on X on October 18 with a two-line teaser:
"TWO SIDES. ONE LINE. New Season Aurora dawns November 10." — Delta Force Game, official X post (October 18, 2026)
The date was repeated two days later in the description of the official Martelo trailer: "Season Aurora begins November 10."
That fits the current calendar exactly. Season Reorientation went live on September 8, and its Season Pass runs to November 9, 2026 ("Season Pass Period: 9/8~11/9" in the September 6 launch post). Aurora takes over the next day. Reorientation lasts about nine weeks in total, a little shorter than Season Meltdown's 70 days.
What time does it go live? Team Jade hasn't posted a time yet, and the stream only promised that full notes will come first. As a reference point, the last season change, from Meltdown to Reorientation, went like this (all times UTC):
- 00:30: ranked play moved to the off-season.
- 01:59: Operations matchmaking closed, and the Market and Auction House were switched off.
- 02:00: the new season went live.
If Aurora follows the same pattern, expect it in the early hours of November 10 UTC. That's the evening of November 9 in the Americas. Don't plan an Auction House sale around that window, because the market is closed during the switch. The exact maintenance schedule normally appears on the Steam news feed a few days before launch.
Is Season Aurora "Season 12"?
The name Team Jade markets is Aurora. Every global post so far, on X and YouTube, calls it "Season Aurora" with no number.
Players already call it S12, though, and that follows Team Jade's own shorthand. Meltdown was S10, and the Reorientation launch post sold "S11 Supply Packs" and an "S11 Warfare Season Challenge." Aurora is the next season, so S12 is a fair label for it. Just remember that Aurora is the name and S12 is the number. Some sites wrongly titled Reorientation "Season 11", which is the same naming mistake.
One caution if you play outside the global build: Garena runs Delta Force in Southeast Asia, Latin America and the Middle East on its own season calendar. A Garena Martelo teaser does not mean Aurora goes live on Garena on November 10. This guide covers the global PC, console and mobile release run by Team Jade.
Who is Martelo, the new Delta Force operator?
Martelo is Veronica Cardozo, a new Assault operator revealed in the official operator trailer posted on the Delta Force Game YouTube channel on October 20, 2026. Martelo is Portuguese for "hammer". That fits the trailer, which shows her using her shield as a weapon and not only for cover.
This is all Team Jade has officially said about her:
"Veronica Cardozo, codename Martelo. She came for answers—and her shield knocks down everything in between." — Delta Force Game, official Martelo trailer (October 20, 2026)
Here is what the trailer itself shows:
| Detail | What the official trailer confirms |
|---|---|
| Real name | Veronica Cardozo |
| Codename | Martelo |
| Class | Assault (shown on her name card) |
| Signature gear | A large hinged shield with red panels and a mesh viewport |
| How the shield is used | Raised in first person while she aims her gun through or around it, and swung as a melee weapon in the cinematic |
| Release | With Season Aurora, November 10, 2026 |
| Abilities | Ariete, Smoke Halo, HE Grenade and Guerreira. Numbers not published |
The trailer also carries an on-screen note that the footage is "not indicative of final quality," so treat the gameplay as a preview, not a final kit.
She joins Vyron, D-Wolf, Nox and Tempest in the Assault class. The last two seasonal operators went to other classes: N-Two (Engineer) arrived with Meltdown and Rover (Support) with Reorientation.
What are Martelo's abilities?
Team Jade revealed her kit in the October 30 Dev Stream. Ariete is a shield charge that rams enemies and can be stopped early for a slam. Smoke Halo fires a ring of smoke around her, or a single aimed canister if you hold it. She also carries an HE Grenade. Her Guerreira trait boosts movement and reload speed after a takedown or at low health.
No cooldowns or damage values are public yet. Our Martelo guide covers each ability, how to play her and how to counter her.
How do you unlock Martelo?
Team Jade said in the stream that you can unlock her for free through the Season Pass, the same route N-Two and Rover took. The exact tier hasn't been announced.
What else is coming in Season Aurora?
Everything below comes from the October 30 Dev Stream and DayOne's coverage of the announcement. Team Jade promised full update notes before launch, so dates and details may still be added.
Warfare: Zenith Port and Riptide
Zenith Port is a new coastal city map. Attackers push in from the water, through the streets and up toward high ground. Its Riptide event floods the lower objectives partway through a match, which moves the fight to the rooftops. Extended Unreal Engine 5 features are optional, so you can switch them off on weaker hardware.
Warfare also gets an Immersive Mode that removes most of the UI, a beacon-marked barrage strike, and an option to pay extra for active protection on some vehicle airdrops. A new mini-mode is planned for mid-season.
Operations: Brakkesh 2.0 and AZ3 Supercritical
Brakkesh 2.0 adds faction missions, and a rival squad can be tasked with intercepting yours during a flagship task. Central Control gets windowed double doors at the back entrance, simpler ground-floor cover and bulletproof glass upstairs. The Ocean and Medical areas are easier to read and gain a new connecting passage.
AZ3 Supercritical is a limited-time challenge with higher entry requirements and better loot. Two possible radiation sources appear at the start, the playable area shrinks as one spreads, and the extraction that opens depends on which source it is. Team Jade's October teaser placed it mid-season, not launch day.
Weapons and Firing Range 2.0
The AN-94 is a new assault rifle with what the announcement calls "a fast and accurate opening two-shot sequence." New weapon kits and ammo tabs arrive too.
Firing Range 2.0 lets you use operator abilities, switch operators without leaving, and practise on moving targets. A timed session tracks kills, headshots and accuracy.
Global + Garena matchmaking
Starting in Aurora, Team Jade will gradually match Global and Garena players together, map by map and difficulty by difficulty. The aim is shorter queues, and the devs said they'll watch connection quality as it rolls out. This is shared matchmaking. Team Jade didn't describe it as an account merge.
Consoles and Detonation
PlayStation 5 Pro gets an enhancement for both performance and quality modes. The Detonation beta comes to PS5 and Xbox Series X/S in Aurora, though the stream didn't say whether that's on day one. Console install size is being reduced in a later update.
Detonation itself gets Mandelbrick drops, reworked bomb sites and controller support on PC. PC matches also become first to seven rounds.
Phantom Blade Zero crossover
The crossover starts November 10. Sanguine, the first two-handed melee weapon in the game, leads it. A free Seven Star legendary G3 skin comes from logging in and finishing simple match tasks. The White Serpent and Crimson Viper store bundle follows on November 13.
Balance, rewards and events
Team Jade said same-operator stacking will be curbed across the roster, with Nox up next. It also said there won't necessarily be a new operator every season.
The Season Pass includes Gizmo: Lone Path. Also shown were the Proto Blade skin, the Asgard charm series and Raptor's Breath of Thunder ultimate appearance. Cozy Winter starts December 11, with a festive Zero Dam area from December 18 and a fireworks show on January 1.
Not in Aurora at launch, as far as we know: Siege: Valkyrie, dated early 2027 on the 2027 roadmap.
What should you finish before Reorientation ends?
These items have firm end dates from Team Jade's posts. Once they pass, the rewards are gone:
| Ends | What | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| November 4, 23:59:59 UTC | 2nd anniversary limited-time Delta Tickets | Unused tickets are removed, per the October 28 update post |
| November 7 | Biscotto Appearance Lucky Draw | The first draw costs 10 Delta Coins or Delta Tickets |
| November 9 | Season Pass | Rover's free-track unlock and the Hackclaw - Netrunner skin stop being earnable. Season Pass guide |
| November 9 | Drag & Rescue (Warfare), Harmonica, Grove Angler, Free Battlefield, Armory, Eclosion | Event-only cosmetics (including Eclosion's Vlinder's Dream set), avatars and Tactical Armament Vouchers |
One thing that does not end: Polaris Patrol, the mini-mode where you play as Desmoulins or the Adjutants. Its window runs to January 26, 2027, so it carries over into Aurora.
Will Season Aurora wipe my stash or Tekniq Alloys?
No wipe has been announced for Aurora. Past season changes in Delta Force have reset season missions and the Season Pass, not your stash, your Tekniq Alloys or your operators. When Meltdown launched, the official notes reset "S9 Season Mission Line Progress" and expired temporary Ultimate Safe Box Access and Safe Box Trial Cards. Players' own gear stayed. Team Jade's director has also said publicly that there are no full progress wipes. For the details, see our guide on whether Delta Force wipes.
Two things will change on November 10:
- The Operations map rotation. The current two-hour schedule is specific to Reorientation (S11), and a new graphic normally ships with the new season. We'll update our map rotation schedule when it does.
- The operator meta. A new operator plus a season of balance changes means a new operator tier list. We'll re-rank once Martelo's numbers are public.
A note on the economy: Team Jade is ending the season in the middle of its toughest anti-RMT push yet. On October 12 it named queue sniping as a way supplies were being moved between players for real-money trades, and it promised to "fully recover all Tekniq Alloys gained through such transactions." Its weekly bulletin for October 5–11 lists 222,521 account bans and 144,890 confiscations for economic-security violations. A new season does not reset that record. Earn your Alloys in matches and on the Auction House.
