Fortnite Weekly Quests: All Treasure Hunters Week 2 Quests & Captain X Rewards

Quick answer (updated 5 November 2026, Fortnite Treasure Hunters, v43.00): Treasure Hunters has 17 weekly quests listed so far: 4 Kickstart, 6 in Week 1 and 7 in Week 2. Every one pays 20,000 XP, so four weeklies equal one 80,000 XP Battle Pass level. Outlets report the Week 2 batch unlocks Thursday 5 November at 9 AM ET (14:00 UTC). Epic hasn't posted the weekly list on its site, so the Week 2 tasks below come from outlet lists. The catch: Epic moved Captain's Day to Sunday 8 November at 9 AM ET, so the "Defeat Lil Uzi Vert" quest probably can't be finished before then. Complete 24 weekly quests with the Battle Pass to unlock the Captain X outfit before the Chapter 7 end event on 5 December 2026.

What are the Fortnite weekly quests this week?

The current mini-season is Treasure Hunters (Epic's launch post calls it "the Season"; the Fortnite Wiki lists it as Chapter 7: Mini Season). It launched with update v43.00 on 1 November 2026, and Epic's status page shows that downtime completing at 08:12 UTC.

Weekly quests live in the Quests tab under Weekly. At launch the tab showed the Kickstart batch, with the Week 1 header ("Enter the new Island, A$AP") under it. Week 2 is the next batch due.

Here is everything published so far, at a glance:

BatchQuestsXP per questBatch XPStatus (5 Nov)
Kickstart (Week 0)420,00080,000Live since 1 Nov
Week 1620,000120,000Listed since 1 Nov
Week 2720,000140,000Expected 5 Nov, 9 AM ET
Weeks 3+Not published20,000—Weekly
Total so far17—340,000—

340,000 XP is 4.25 Battle Pass levels: Treasure Hunters levels cost 80,000 XP each, according to the in-game Quests tab and the Fortnite Wiki. For the full leveling plan, read our Treasure Hunters XP guide.

What are the Kickstart (Week 0) quests?

These four teach the new season's systems. The wording below comes from the in-game quest cards:

QuestTargetXP
Consume a Devil Fruit120,000
Use rift service or hire a specialist in different matches220,000
Fire a cannon loaded with a cannonball or a player120,000
Use Sprite Wanted Posters to dig up and open Sprite Chests320,000

How to finish each one fast:

  • Devil Fruit: Epic added two this season, the Gum-Gum Fruit and the Flame-Flame Fruit. Spawn reports disagree: some outlets say they come from Rifts with a lobby-wide marker, others say they're random floor loot. Grab and consume the first one you see.
  • Rift service or specialist: this one got easy. Epic's v43.00 notes say "Gold Bars have been vaulted: Follower services are now free. Vending Machines have been removed." Players read that as free specialist hires, which makes this quest cheap. Do it in two separate matches; the counter only moves once per match.
  • Cannon: cannons launch you across Crossbones Isle. You can load a cannonball or jump in yourself, and either counts per the quest text.
  • Sprite Chests: pick up a Wanted Poster. It tears into a Sprite Treasure Map that marks a buried Sprite Chest; dig it up with your pickaxe. Three chests can take more than one match. Our Treasure Hunters Sprites guide covers what drops from them.

One known bug: some players report buried Sprite Chests that won't open on the last pickaxe hit (r/FortniteBR, 3 November, across PC, PS5, Xbox and Switch 2). The workarounds in that thread: hit the outer ring of rubble, crouch, or walk away and come back. Epic has not listed it as a known issue.

What are the Week 1 quests in Fortnite Treasure Hunters?

The A$AP Rocky boss with his health bar at The $.$. Rocky in Fortnite Treasure Hunters

Week 1 is built around the first Captain, A$AP Rocky, who spawns as a boss at The $.$. Rocky on the east side of the island. Six quests, as listed by Beebom and GAMES.GG:

QuestTargetXP
Damage A$AP Rocky with two different weapons2 weapons20,000
Travel distance in the air while under the effects of low-grav50020,000
Eliminate opponents with shotguns520,000
Collect Epic or better weapons1020,000
Contact Slone on the Slone Phone in Plunder Port120,000
Visit Named Locations in a single match320,000

Tips that save matches:

  • A$AP Rocky: do this before Sunday 8 November, because Epic hasn't said whether he stays once the next Captain arrives. The counter wants damage from two different weapons, not two hits. Tag him with a shotgun and an AR before you commit, even if you don't stay for the kill. Beating him can drop A$AP Rocky's Shock Rocket and the Lil' Flacko Sprite.
  • Named Locations: three in one match. Land at Plunder Port for the Slone Phone, then fire a cannon toward the next POI to cover distance quickly.
  • Epic or better weapons: this is the slow one. In r/FortniteBR's new-season thread one player said "Higher-tier loot is not easy to get," and another added "I barely see any rare chests out in the open." Count picking up drops from eliminated players, and the Bundlebuss Repeater Rifle and Gilded Dragoon Shotgun both come in Epic rarity.
  • Low-grav travel: Epic's notes don't say where low gravity is, and no outlet has pinned a spot yet. We'll add it here once it's confirmed.

Our Crossbones Isle map guide shows every POI and where the cannons send you.

What are the Week 2 quests and when do they unlock?

Week 2 adds the second Captain, Lil Uzi Vert. Beebom and GAMES.GG both list seven quests, and both say new weeklies arrive Thursdays at 9 AM ET. With US daylight saving over, that is 14:00 UTC on 5 November. Epic has not confirmed the Thursday time itself, so check back after the unlock if your tab is still empty.

QuestTargetXP
Defeat Lil Uzi Vert120,000
Dance on a drivable car120,000
Damage opponents from above50020,000
Hit opponents with Lil Uzi Vert's Lil' SMG or other SMGs7520,000
Extract Sprites in a single match320,000
Loot items from a vault2020,000
Damage opponents with Legendary or better weapons50020,000

Why can't I complete "Defeat Lil Uzi Vert" yet?

Because the boss probably isn't on the island yet. On 4 November Fortnite Status changed the weekly schedule:

"Treasure Hours move to Saturdays, rounding out each week before a new Captain arrives Sunday." — Fortnite Status on X, 4 November 2026

The next Captain's Day is Sunday 8 November at 9 AM ET (14:00 UTC), when "A new Captain sails in to take over the Stronghold, bringing a new SMG." Epic's original launch post had dated the Lil Uzi Vert week to 7 November, and the quest list arrives on the 5th. So the Defeat quest likely waits until Sunday. The vault quest may be tied to his Stronghold, but no source confirms where vaults are, so try it on Thursday anyway. Don't burn matches hunting a boss who hasn't spawned.

The other five don't depend on him. You can do them on Thursday:

  • SMG hits (75): any SMG counts. The Machine SMG and Tactical SMG are back in the loot pool with v43.00.
  • Damage from above (500): fight from high ground, a rooftop or a cannon arc.
  • Dance on a drivable car: find any car, hop on the roof, emote. Done in seconds.
  • Legendary damage (500): combine with the SMG quest if you find a Legendary SMG.
  • Extract 3 Sprites in one match: the hardest. It must be one match, so stack Wanted Posters early.

Epic's Mastery Monday art: Sprites with the 2x Sprite level and 2x Sprite Dust boosts

Plan the extraction quest around Mastery Monday. On launch day it ran from 9 AM ET on 1 November to 11 AM ET on 2 November, per the Fortnite Wiki's event log. It significantly raises Sprite Chest and Wanted Poster spawns, and it doubles Sprite XP and Sprite Dust. More chests in one match means three extractions are realistic. Epic hasn't dated the next Mastery Monday yet, and it's the boosted chest and poster spawns that help this quest, not the doubled Sprite XP.

How many weekly quests do you need for Captain X?

In-game Captain X outfit reward card marked Battle Pass Required

24. The in-game Captain X Rewards track sits in the Battle Pass section of the Quests tab and is marked "Battle Pass Required". It counts completed weekly quests:

Weekly quests doneReward
4The Treasure Hunt Begins (Loading Screen)
8Banner Icon
12He Who Sees All Treasure (Spray)
14Back Bling ("High Tide and Wavecutter" on the Fortnite Wiki, "Rogue Wave and Tidecutter" in Beebom's list)
18Not revealed
20Not revealed
24Captain X (Outfit)

The math: 17 quests are listed through Week 2. You need 7 more from later batches, and outlets expect five weekly batches in total (Kickstart plus Weeks 1–4). If Weeks 3 and 4 match the size of the first batches, you'll have roughly 29–31 weeklies for 24 milestones, so you can skip about five. Don't write off the Lil Uzi quest just because it can't be done on Thursday.

Two things to check:

  • Pass required. The track is pass-gated in game. The Treasure Hunters Battle Pass is 800 V-Bucks (Fortnite Wiki), and Crew subscribers get it included. GAMES.GG reports you can buy the pass late and still claim the track. Our Treasure Hunters Battle Pass guide has the full reward list.
  • Deadline. Epic has dated the Chapter 7 end event to Saturday 5 December 2026. The exact hour isn't announced yet. Finish quests before that weekend; our season end countdown will carry the time when Epic posts it.

Which other quests give XP this season?

Weeklies aren't the only track. Two others share the Quests tab:

TrackXP per questReward goal
Weekly quests20,000Captain X milestones
One Piece Episodes (8 quests)10,0004 sprays: Luffy and Zoro, Nami and Usopp, Sanji and Chopper, Buggy
Map Fragment at The $.$. Rocky10,000Treasure Hunt progress

GAMES.GG lists the One Piece sprays at 1, 3, 5 and 7 completions. Epic says a new Captain's Map Fragment appears on each Captain's Day, "just one piece of something bigger." The Treasure Hunt section also has chest tasks: open 25 Treasure Chests, 2 Rare Chests and 2 Sprite Chests. Chests are also where players report finding the rare Pirate Shop token; our Pirate Shop guide explains what that drop really does.

Why are my weekly quests not showing?

Usually it's one of these:

  • The batch isn't out yet. Week 2 is reported for 9 AM ET on Thursday. Before that, the tab only shows Kickstart and Week 1.
  • Stale client. Restart the game after the unlock time; a fresh login is the quickest way to pull the new batch.
  • Wrong section. Battle Royale weeklies sit under Weekly in the Quests tab, separate from the One Piece, Treasure Hunt and other modes' quests.
  • Server issues. If quest progress doesn't save, check Epic's status page before replaying.

FAQ

When do Fortnite weekly quests reset? They don't reset. Each new batch adds to the list, and outlets report new batches every Thursday at 9 AM ET (14:00 UTC). Earlier batches stay in the Weekly tab, so the real deadline is the Chapter 7 end event on 5 December 2026.

How much XP is a weekly quest worth in Treasure Hunters? 20,000 XP each, shown as "20k" on every in-game quest card. Four weeklies equal one 80,000 XP Battle Pass level.

Can I get Captain X without the Battle Pass? No. The Captain X Rewards track is labelled "Battle Pass Required" in game. GAMES.GG reports you can buy the pass later in the season and still claim the rewards, so you can decide late, but leave time before 5 December.

Where is Lil Uzi Vert in Fortnite? Fortnite Status says a new Captain takes over the Stronghold on Sunday 8 November at 9 AM ET (14:00 UTC). It doesn't name him, but Epic's 30 October post lists Lil Uzi Vert as the second Captain, and that post's map labelled the area "Lil' Uzi's Stronghold" in the northeast. Epic's v43.00 notes use different POI names, so the in-game label may differ. Before Sunday he likely isn't on the island.

Do I have to finish Week 1 before Week 2? No. Every batch stays open once it unlocks, so you can work on any of them in any order.

Are there free V-Bucks for completing weekly quests? No. Weekly quests award XP and, through Captain X, cosmetics, not V-Bucks. Sites offering free V-Bucks generators or codes are scams.
