GTA 6 Pre-Order Bonus: Ends Nov 19 at 23:59. What You Lose After

Quick answer (TLDR): The GTA 6 pre-order bonus is the Vintage Vice City Pack, and the last moment to get it digitally is November 19, 2026 at 23:59:59. That's the wording on the Xbox Store listing, and Rockstar's support page says "prior to November 20." So a digital copy bought on launch day still counts. You get the '55 Vapid Stanier and its garage, outfits and hairstyles for Jason and Lucia, and a weapon pattern, on either edition. Digital buyers also get one month of GTA+, which you have to claim yourself. Boxed copies are the risky route: IGN reports the pack is only guaranteed "while supplies last." Today, November 3, you have 16 days left.

Rockstar has started calling this your "last chance," but nothing changes this week. A new wave of GTA 6 ads on X uses that exact phrase for the Vintage Vice City Pack, according to an r/GTA6 thread with 363 upvotes on November 2 crediting iGrandTheftAuto. The deadline itself hasn't moved. Here's what the bonus is, what you'd lose by missing it, and how to pick the safest way to buy.

When does the GTA 6 pre-order bonus end?

For digital copies, it ends at the close of November 19, 2026. Rockstar says this three ways, and they all agree.

  • Take-Two's June press release: "All Grand Theft Auto VI pre-orders and purchases before November 20, 2026, will include the Vintage Vice City Pack."
  • Rockstar Support: "Digital pre-orders and purchases of either edition prior to November 20, 2026."
  • The Xbox Store, which gives the only exact time:

"The Vintage Vice City Pack is included with all digital purchases of Grand Theft Auto VI made prior to 19 November 2026 23:59:59." (Xbox Store listing)

Two things follow from that wording.

It isn't strictly a pre-order bonus. The word "purchases" matters. The game launches on November 19, and buying a digital copy that same day still qualifies. You don't have to commit early to keep the pack.

The listing names no time zone. Neither Rockstar nor Xbox says whether 23:59:59 means local time or something else. Pre-load runs on local midnight, so local time is a fair guess, but it's still a guess. Don't test it at 23:50. If you're waiting, buy on November 18 or earlier and leave yourself a margin.

What's in the Vintage Vice City Pack?

Three things, all single-player, all listed on the official store page. The Xbox listing describes them this way:

GTA 6 Vintage Vice City Pack: guns wearing the Tommy Vercetti tropical palm-tree weapon pattern beside a cash duffel

  • '55 Vapid Stanier and Shore Court garage. A classic sedan, plus a garage near Ocean Beach with a weapon locker and "a secure place to deposit stolen goods to be fenced."
  • Outfits and hairstyles. Jason gets a linen suit in vintage pastel. Lucia gets a red sequin mini dress and curls.
  • Exclusive weapon pattern. A tropical design for "most guns," inspired by Tommy Vercetti's palm tree shirt.

One detail most guides skip: you won't have all of this on your first mission. The same listing says "All items will be available to Jason and Lucia as their story progresses." Rockstar hasn't said which chapter unlocks what.

The garage is the piece with real gameplay value, because it adds a place to bank stolen goods. How much that's worth depends on how fencing works in the full game, and Rockstar hasn't shown that in detail. The Stanier is a car you can drive, and the outfits, hairstyles and pattern change only how things look.

What happens if you miss the deadline?

You lose the offer, and there's no announced way to get the pack afterwards. Rockstar has not said it will sell the pack after November 19. The Ultimate Edition won't rescue you either, because the pack isn't part of Ultimate. It's a time-limited extra on both editions.

Xbox does have a separate store page for the pack, which is why some players assume it will go on sale later. That's RUMORED at best. The page says only that the pack comes with digital purchases of the game before the cutoff. It doesn't announce a standalone sale.

The GTA+ month goes too. Sony's terms limit it to players who buy the digital version "prior to November 20, 2026."

Does the physical copy get the pre-order bonus?

Usually yes, but this is the one route without a firm guarantee.

Rockstar Support says physical pre-orders contain "one code for digital download of Grand Theft Auto VI and the Vintage Vice City Pack." So there's a single code, not a separate bonus code. IGN's pre-order guide adds that the pack comes with physical pre-orders "while supplies last." Take-Two's press release doesn't carry that limit, so the sources don't fully match.

Our advice is simple. If the pack matters to you, buy digital, or get a box clearly sold as a pre-order or launch copy. A boxed copy picked up late, or bought second-hand, is the weakest bet.

There's no boxed Ultimate at all, and the box holds a code rather than a disc. Our GTA 6 physical copy guide covers the rest, including the PS5 region lock on codes.

Walmart is the one retailer with a reported extra. Kotaku says its pre-order page promises a "surprise," which Beebom describes as a bag listed while supplies last. Beebom also notes Rockstar hasn't confirmed any physical bonuses, so judge it as a store promotion and not as in-game content.

How do you claim the free month of GTA+?

The pack comes with your purchase, and neither store page lists a separate step for it. GTA+ is different: it does nothing until you claim it.

On PlayStation, per Sony's GTA VI FAQ:

  • Pre-order from PlayStation Store, then visit the GTA+ product page and follow the on-screen steps at no extra cost.
  • Claim by March 31, 2027.
  • It auto-renews as a paid subscription after the free month, so cancel in Subscriptions Management if you don't want that.
  • It's once per account, however many copies you buy. Existing members get the month added on.
  • It's not offered in Bahrain, China, Kuwait, Lebanon, Oman, Qatar, Russia or Taiwan.

On Xbox, per the Xbox Store listing:

  • A console pop-up tells you when it's ready.
  • Open the Store, select your profile icon, then "Offers & credits."
  • Redeem within 180 days of placing your pre-order. If you ordered on day one, June 25, that runs out around December 22, 2026, which is sooner than PlayStation's date.
  • It's limited to one redemption per platform account.

What the month gives you is GTA Online value, not GTA 6 content. Rockstar's store says members get "a bonus of GTA$500,000 every month," deposited into their Maze Bank account, and Take-Two's release says the month is "instantly redeemable" for GTA V and the GTA+ Games Library. GTA 6 itself is listed as a single-player experience, so don't expect the perks to carry into it. Our GTA 6 Online breakdown covers what's known there.

Vintage Vice City Pack vs Ultimate Edition: what's the difference?

They're separate things, and you don't need one to get the other. The pack is free with any qualifying purchase. Ultimate costs $20 more and adds a much longer list.

This leads to the buying advice we'd give most players: get Standard digitally before the deadline, then decide on Ultimate later. Rockstar says Standard owners can buy the upgrade "at any time." Upgrading later costs you nothing in bonuses, while missing the deadline leaves you with no announced way to get the pack. Our Ultimate vs Standard comparison goes through all 16 items.

Don't confuse either of these with the $399.99 Vice City Collection. That's merchandise, and the game isn't included.

Should you pre-order now or wait until November 19?

Pre-order before November 12 if you want to play at launch without a long wait. Waiting only makes sense if you want reviews first, and it has a real cost.

Digital pre-orders can start pre-loading on November 12 at local midnight. If you buy on launch day, you start the download then, and Insider Gaming reports the install at around 210 GB, a figure Rockstar hasn't confirmed. Our file size guide has the storage numbers. That's a slow first night on most home connections.

Reviews are a fair reason to hold off, and the bonus won't punish you for it. Digital purchases keep qualifying through November 19. Reports point to November 18 for the review embargo, though that date isn't official, and our reviews guide tracks it. If you've already pre-ordered and changed your mind, check the refund rules before pre-loading, because starting the download can end your PS5 refund window.

Ignore anyone offering the pack early or separately. No edition plays before November 19, as we covered in our early access guide, and third-party "bonus code" sellers aren't part of any official route.

How do you get set up in GTA Online while you wait for GTA 6?

The GTA+ month pays out in GTA Online, so that's where to spend the next 16 days. There's no GTA 6 service, and there won't be one before launch, but you can go into November 19 with your GTA Online account sorted.

Want your GTA+ month to count? Set up your GTA Online account now, so you aren't stuck on the slow early grind:

These are GTA Online (GTA 5) services only. Nobody can sell you GTA 6 content before launch, and anyone claiming to is running a scam.

FAQ

When does the GTA 6 pre-order bonus end? The Xbox Store lists the cutoff as November 19, 2026 at 23:59:59, and Rockstar says "prior to November 20, 2026." No time zone is given, so leave yourself a margin and buy on November 18 or earlier.

Do you get the Vintage Vice City Pack if you buy GTA 6 on launch day? Yes, on digital. Rockstar's terms cover digital "pre-orders and purchases" before November 20, and launch day is November 19.

Is the Vintage Vice City Pack free? It's included at no extra cost with a qualifying purchase of either edition. Rockstar hasn't announced a standalone price or any way to buy it after the deadline.

Does the Ultimate Edition include the pre-order bonus? Only if you buy it by the deadline. The pack comes with Standard and Ultimate equally, so buying Ultimate after November 19 won't add it.

Does the physical copy get the pre-order bonus? Physical pre-orders contain one code for the game and the pack, though IGN reports that's guaranteed only "while supplies last." The free month of GTA+ is digital-only.

Do you get the bonus straight away? No. The Xbox listing says all items become available to Jason and Lucia as their story progresses.

Can you pre-order GTA 6 on PC? No. GTA 6 launches on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S, and Rockstar hasn't announced a PC date, so there's nothing to pre-order on PC.
