Quick answer (TLDR): As of November 2, 2026, the Ember set has crashed. MM2 Values lists the Emberbow at 325 and the Emberscythe at 300, both down more than 80% from 1,900 in October. Supreme Values has both at 375. The Chroma Emberscythe is the top 2026 item at 10,000 on both lists, the Chroma Emberbow is at about 4,500, and the Embersickle is at 80 to 85. Older Halloween items barely moved: the Chroma Traveler's Gun (140K), Chroma Vampire's Gun (25K) and Traveler's Axe (~7,700) still lead the tradeable list. The event ends November 16, 2026. Every value here is a community estimate, not an official price.
If you're pricing a Murder Mystery 2 trade off anything published in October, check the date first. Two weeks ago the Ember items were the most expensive new things in the game. On MM2 Values, a single Vampire's Gun is now worth about six Emberscythes.
At 01:25 UTC on November 2, 2026, the Roblox Games API showed 357,318 players in-game and 32.02 billion lifetime visits, down from the 479,007 we pulled on October 20 but still well above the 199,540 from before the event.
This November refresh covers today's Ember prices, what changed since our October 20 version, the most valuable Halloween items from every year since 2015, and what the Cauldron is worth now. Our source is MM2 Trade Hub's Halloween page, which tags 232 Halloween items from 2015 to 2026 and shows both community lists: MM2 Values and Supreme Values. MM2 Values last updated its list on October 31 at 12:31 PM EST, and Supreme last rebuilt on November 1 at 01:42 UTC.
A correction to our last version: on October 20 this page quoted launch-weekend numbers from one trading site, including 3,650 for the Emberscythe. Neither main list had priced the Ember items yet. Both have now, so we've dropped those early quotes.

Here's every 2026 item on both lists. The "peak" column is the highest price on MM2 Values' own change log, which starts in late September, so it isn't mixed with any other list.

Don't treat these as settled. MM2 Values tags the Emberbow, Emberscythe and Embersickle as Underpaid For, which means real trades are landing under the listed number, and it tags every Chroma above as Fluctuating, apart from the Chroma Embersickle, which is also Underpaid For. The Emberbow was still 625 on the morning of October 31.
Why did the Ember set crash?
Neither list has given an official reason, but the offer data lines up with oversupply. MM2 Trade Hub counts offers in 4,006 trades posted over the last 30 days:

These are posted offers, not finished trades, so they show intent rather than sales. Even so, the Embersickle is the fourth most-traded item on the site, and holders are offering it about six times as often as anyone asks for it. When people put one up, they mostly ask for an Icepiercer, a Harvester or a Snowcannon. Those are older items with stable prices.
The chain on MM2 Values looks like this:
- Emberbow: 1,900 on October 25, 1,600 on October 28, 1,300 on October 29, 625 on October 31, and 325 now. For the full history, see our Emberbow value page.
- Emberscythe: 1,900 until October 23, 1,450 on October 25, 1,150 on October 29, and 300 now.
- Embersickle: 250 until October 23, 100 on October 25, and 80 since October 28.
Players saw it coming too. In an r/MurderMystery2 thread on the drop, one commenter wrote: "Buying robux things at the start isn't a good idea." That matches what MM2 Trade Hub says every year: prices crash while everyone is opening boxes.
Is the Cauldron still worth using?
For the normal result, no. The Cauldron turns one Embersickle and one Emberbow into one Emberscythe, and the Emberscythe is now worth less than the Emberbow you put in.

The only reason to craft is the low chance of a Chroma Emberscythe. At today's prices, you'd need about a 1.1% chance on MM2 Values or 0.9% on Supreme for the craft to break even on value. Those are our own calculations, and the real odds aren't published, so nobody can tell you if it's a good bet. If you want an Emberscythe for the skin, buying one in a trade is now cheaper than crafting it.
Which older MM2 Halloween items are worth the most?
Here are the most valuable tradeable Halloween items, with both lists side by side. We left out the Gold, Silver and Bronze leaderboard prizes. MM2 Trade Hub marks those as "award only", and Supreme won't price them.

The biggest move here is the Traveler's Axe, which rose through October and is the most valuable tradeable non-chroma Halloween item on both lists. Darkshot and Darksword slid the most and are tagged Underpaid For, so expect offers below the listed value. The Vampire's Axe is the only item in the table tagged Doing Well.

Age is a big factor for Halloween items, but the three sets from 2023 to 2025 hold the highest tradeable values. Here's the most valuable tradeable item from each event, plus how many items MM2 Trade Hub tags for that year.

This group hasn't moved since our last update, which is the point: while the Ember set lost 80%, the old classics stayed put. Both lists' numbers, pulled November 2, 2026:

Two notes. First, Phantom is two different items: a 2022 Phantom (37 / 35) and a 2017 Phantom (11 / 10). Check the year before you agree to a trade. Second, Hallow's Edge is a well-known name from 2016, but it's only worth about 9. A familiar name doesn't make an item rare.

Should you buy or sell MM2 Halloween items now?
MM2 Trade Hub's Halloween page sums up the pattern that repeats every year:
"Prices crash in the first week while everyone is opening boxes, bottom out near the end of the event, then climb slowly for years. If you are buying, buy late. If you are selling, sell early." (mm2values.app, Halloween values page)
The crash is here, so the "sell early" window has passed for Ember items. With 14 days left, here's our read for 2026:
- Embersickle and Chroma Embersickle: box supply grows until the event ends, and the Embersickle is already the most over-offered item in the set. There's no rush to buy before November 16.
- Emberbow and Emberscythe: the Emberbow takes 116,800 to 117,400 Candies for the full pass, depending on whether tier 30 has its own 600-Candy unlock. Our MM2 Candies guide covers the grind. At 325, we wouldn't spend Robux on Candies just for trade value. Each Cauldron craft removes one Emberbow and one Embersickle, and no new copies can be made after the event, but neither of those promises a rebound.
- Mortal and Immortal: anyone can buy these until the event ends, and they're already at 140 against a 1,699 Robux price. Buy them because you want them, not as a trade.
- Older Halloween items: they held up while the new set fell, which is why traders keep asking for them. The Harvester (250) is a good example, with more people asking for it than offering it.
- Last year's set isn't rare yet. MM2 Trade Hub warns: "Watch out for people offering last year's items as if they were rare. One year of age is not scarcity."

How does MM2 trading work, and are these values official?
MM2 items are traded inside the game, using MM2's own trade window. That's separate from Roblox's platform-wide Limiteds trading, which our guide to trading on Roblox covers. A few rules to keep in mind:
- No value is official. Nikilis has never published item values. MM2 Values and Supreme Values are community lists, and they don't always agree. The Emberscythe is 300 on one and 375 on the other.
- Untradeable items have no market price. The leaderboard Emberbows (Gold, Silver, Bronze and Blue) are Uniques and can't be traded. Neither can the Halloween Keys.
- Use demand, not just value. Higher-demand items (5 to 6) usually find a trade quickly. Low-demand items (1 to 2) can take much longer, even if they're listed higher.
- Keep trades safe. Use MM2's own trade window, double-check every item before you accept, and don't hand items to "middlemen" you met outside the game.

Why did Ember items drop so much in MM2? Neither list has said why. MM2 Trade Hub's offer data points to oversupply: over 30 days, the Embersickle was offered in 315 trades and asked for in 53, and the Emberbow was offered in 136 and asked for in 47. Our Emberbow page has the full timeline.
Should I buy MM2 Halloween items now or after the event? For box items like the Embersickle, there's no rush, because box supply keeps growing until the event ends and MM2 Trade Hub's advice is "if you are buying, buy late." Prices can still move either way after November 16, so check both lists the day you trade.
When does the MM2 Halloween event end? On November 16, 2026 at 18:00 UTC, according to MM2's official Roblox event listing. After that, Ember items can only be obtained by trading.
