What are the Daily Rivals rewards in NBA 2K27?
2K only describes the rewards in general terms. Its City Courtside Report says: "You earn a reward each day just for showing up, but the higher you place, the better the gear you take home." So we built this list from reward screens that players posted on r/NBA2k.

Treat the table as a snapshot. A 1st-place screen shared on August 18 showed 30x All Gatorade Boosts, while the October screens show 90x. That may be a change or just a different way of counting, so check your own prize preview.
Did 2K change Daily Rivals rewards in Season 2?
Probably, but it isn't official. On October 30, a thread with 181 comments reported that finishers outside the top 3 but inside the top 15 no longer get VC and Skill Boosts, and now get one 1-hour 2X REP token instead. The same post says Skill Boosts now need a top-3 finish.
We checked the 2K sources we could reach on October 31. The Daily Rivals support article hasn't been edited since August 26. We found no Steam news post about a Rivals change either, and a third-party patch tracker still lists Update 2.0 from October 8 as the newest patch. That doesn't prove nothing was announced elsewhere, but we can't date the change or confirm it.
Players are split on whether it's a downgrade. The old top-15 payout was around 5 to 10 Skill Boosts per category, and several players said they were already near the 99 boost cap. Those players prefer the token. Players who rely on free boosts lost something real.
The token is worth more on a 2X REP event day only if it stacks, and 2K doesn't say whether it does. One player also complained that a 2X REP reward started running before they could choose when to use it, so check your timer before you plan a session around one.

Expect a small prize. In the threads we read, 2,500 VC and the digital clock came up again and again. One player reported 10 first-place finishes with 10,000 VC as their best ticket, and another reported five wins worth 99 games of Gatorade Boosts, 5,000 VC, 30 All-Skills Boosts, 3,500 VC and 2,500 VC. 2K publishes no odds for these tickets, and any percentage you see online is a guess.
How does the Daily Rivals point system work?

- Completed games only. 2K Support says: "Only completed games will count towards your leaderboard progress when the Daily Rivals reset happens." A game still running at reset doesn't count toward that day's board.

- Short games add up quickly. A creator test in Open Court Athletics reported about 100 points per game of roughly two minutes. It's one test, and it may have changed since.

When does Daily Rivals end each day?
The timer ends at 2 AM Pacific Time every day, according to 2K Support. When it resets, "a new group will be selected, and you can see your final placement for the previous day along with your rewards."

How do you place top 3 without playing all day?
Start later. 2K says groups are based on "your skill level and how often you play," and players consistently report that your start time matters too. 2K Support says rewards "should be automatically credited" once you log in, and that Rivals Tickets "will appear the next time you launch the game after your day ends." Try these steps in order:
- Close and relaunch the game. Rewards are granted at login, so a session that's still open may not show them.
- Check your VC before and after. Players report the listed VC lands without opening anything, so compare your balance.
- Open the ticket on the results screen. Hold the on-screen button rather than dismissing it.
- Contact 2K Support. Do this if it's still missing, and include a screenshot.
