Updated 3 November 2026 for WARDOGS Season 2 (Update 0.2.0). Today's price is the reading for 3 November, and the next price lands at 00:00 UTC.
Quick answer: One WARDOGS Gold Bar costs $548,930 Cash on 3 November 2026, up 38.5% in a day and more than double the $251,032 low of 30 October. It is still 47% below the Season 2 high of $1,042,770 (22 October), and the all-time tracked low is $166,000 (3 and 4 October). The price changes once a day at 00:00 UTC, and it has not moved on any of the eight Sundays so far. Season 3 is scheduled to wipe Cash on Thursday 12 November 2026, nine days from now, and anything you have not spent or exchanged by then converts automatically at a rate BULKHEAD has not published.
BULKHEAD does not publish this number anywhere outside the game. The figures below come from the in-game Gold Exchange screen and from two fan trackers that log it daily. This guide shows today's rate, the full history, whether the price follows the player count, what a skin costs in Cash right now, and how to decide whether to exchange before the wipe.

What is the WARDOGS gold price today?
The price is $548,930 Cash per Gold Bar for 3 November 2026. The wardogs.tools daily log and WARDOGS Tracker agree to the dollar, and both stamp the reading just after 00:00 UTC.
The trackers are unofficial fan sites, so your own client is always the final word. Open the Gold Exchange to read the live rate. The screenshot above is a player's capture from 30 October, the day of the late-October low. It shows the screen's 1W, 4W, 12W and 52W history views, and its 4W view matches the $1,042.77K high and $166K low that the trackers logged.
Two names get mixed up here. The Gold Exchange is where Cash becomes Gold Bars. The Gold Market is where Gold Bars become cosmetics. For the basics of both, read our Gold Bars and Gold Market explainer.
How has the gold bar price moved in Season 2?
It rose 87% in six days, fell 76% in the next eight, and has now bounced back by 119% in four. Season 2 went live on 15 October after a maintenance window that ended at 09:30 UTC, so the 15 October price, set at 00:00 UTC, was still a Season 1 price. Here is every daily price set after the wipe:
| Date (2026) | Cash per Gold Bar | Daily change |
|---|---|---|
| 3 Nov | $548,930 | +38.5% |
| 2 Nov | $396,210 | −5.4% |
| 1 Nov (Sun) | $418,650 | 0% |
| 31 Oct | $418,650 | +66.8% |
| 30 Oct | $251,032 | −24.0% |
| 29 Oct | $330,410 | −38.6% |
| 28 Oct | $538,270 | −16.1% |
| 27 Oct | $641,905 | −7.6% |
| 26 Oct | $694,330 | −19.5% |
| 25 Oct (Sun) | $862,150 | 0% |
| 24 Oct | $862,150 | −5.4% |
| 23 Oct | $911,480 | −12.6% |
| 22 Oct | $1,042,770 | +7.7% |
| 21 Oct | $968,330 | −3.5% |
| 20 Oct | $1,003,600 | +7.0% |
| 19 Oct | $938,215 | +33.8% |
| 18 Oct (Sun) | $701,250 | 0% |
| 17 Oct | $701,250 | +25.8% |
| 16 Oct | $557,480 | +119.5% |
The 16 October jump was the first price set after the wipe. The last price set before it was $253,947 at 00:00 UTC on 15 October, hours before Season 2 went live, and the next day's price was more than double that. Today's price is almost back to that first Season 2 reading.
What is the highest and lowest WARDOGS gold price?
The tracked high is $2,798,240 on launch day, 10 September, and the tracked low is $166,000 on 3 and 4 October. Today's price is 80% below launch.
| Period | Days | High | Low | Average |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Season 1 prices (10 Sep to 15 Oct, all set before the wipe) | 36 | $2,798,240 | $166,000 | $1,178,038 |
| Season 1, last 14 prices (2 to 15 Oct) | 14 | $492,453 | $166,000 | $318,112 |
| Season 2 prices so far (16 Oct to 3 Nov) | 19 | $1,042,770 | $251,032 | $673,003 |
Of the 55 days tracked since launch, 20 were cheaper than today, and six of those fell inside Season 2 (28 October to 2 November). On the days the price moves, the typical change is about 13%, but the extremes are far larger. The biggest one-day rise outside a wipe was +196.7% on 5 October, from $166,000 to $492,453. The biggest fall was −52.2% on 2 October. The 31 October rise of +66.8% is the largest since the wipe day.
When does the gold price change?
Once a day at 00:00 UTC, according to both trackers. That is midnight in the UK and, since US clocks went back on 1 November, 7pm ET the evening before. The price then holds until the next reset. It is not a live ticker, so refreshing the screen during the day will not get you a better rate.
Players have spotted a weekend pause in the in-game chart, and the daily log pins it down: every Sunday so far has repeated Saturday's price. The 30 October version of this guide predicted that Sunday 1 November would carry Saturday's price, and it did, at $418,650 on both days. That makes eight Sundays out of eight (13, 20 and 27 September, 4, 11, 18 and 25 October, and 1 November), and no other weekday has repeated a price once. BULKHEAD has not explained this, so treat it as an observation. If it holds, Sunday 8 November will carry Saturday 7 November's price.
Does the WARDOGS gold price follow the player count?
Only loosely, and not from one day to the next. That is the question in a busy r/WarDogs thread today, "The gold market is not tracking player count". Its author writes that the price "really did look like it vaguely followed player count" earlier, but now "seems disconnected from anything expected".
We checked it against our own readings of Steam's live player count for WARDOGS (app 1867240), taken once a day at about 10:20 UTC:
| Date | Players online (our reading) | Gold price that day |
|---|---|---|
| 18 Oct | 175,377 | $701,250 |
| 22 Oct | 81,594 | $1,042,770 |
| 25 Oct (Sun) | 113,994 | $862,150 |
| 28 Oct | 61,005 | $538,270 |
| 30 Oct | 56,029 | $251,032 |
| 1 Nov (Sun) | 76,187 | $418,650 |
| 2 Nov | 50,134 | $396,210 |
| 3 Nov | 47,978 | $548,930 |
Across all 15 days we have both numbers for, the two do drift down together through the season. Between one reading and the next, though, they moved in the same direction only 5 times in the 12 gaps where the price changed. That is no better than a coin flip. Today shows it clearly: our lowest player-count reading of Season 2 came on the same day as a 38.5% price rise.
There are limits to this check. It uses one player-count snapshot per day against a price that is set at midnight UTC, and we have no reading for 21 or 27 October, so two of the gaps span two days. Treat it as a rough test, not proof. It does not tell you how the price is set. It only suggests the player count is a poor guide to tomorrow's price.
How is the WARDOGS gold price set?
Nobody outside BULKHEAD knows. No formula has been published, and BULKHEAD's framing is a question: "Do you invest now or do you buy in the dip?"
Players have two competing theories. Earlier in the season, one r/WarDogs post title summed up the first: "All I know is that it's somehow tied to how much we buy it." In today's thread, one reply makes the second: "it's just set by the devs." Another agrees: "It's set up by the devs, that's it." A third commenter asks BULKHEAD to "explain how it works (roughly) instead of it being a total secret." Both are theories, not confirmed rules. The useful fact is that you cannot sell a Gold Bar back for Cash, so every exchange is one way and there is no flipping.
On 30 October, the day of the low, one reply in the crash thread read "don't buy till 166k holdddd diamond hands". The price went the other way the next day. $166,000 is a floor only in the sense that it is the lowest price logged so far, and nothing says it will be reached again.

How much does a WARDOGS skin cost in Cash today?
Multiply the skin's Gold price by the day's rate. The Gold prices below are the Gold Market listings as shown by itemshop.gg and WARDOGS Tracker on 30 October.
| Item | Gold Bars | Cash today (3 Nov) | Cash at the 30 Oct low |
|---|---|---|---|
| Emotes, GGX 17 and A-91 camos | 5 | $2,744,650 | $1,255,160 |
| M4, M14 and TCX-SPR camos | 10 | $5,489,300 | $2,510,320 |
| Sport Parachute, AMR 50 camos | 15 | $8,233,950 | $3,765,480 |
| Black & Gold Little Bird | 30 | $16,467,900 | $7,530,960 |
That last row is why one player in today's thread writes, "I have 6m and can't afford the gold heli skin." At today's rate, $6 million buys under 11 bars, against the 30 the Little Bird needs. The same $1,000,000 buys 1.82 bars today and 3.98 bars on 30 October.
The Black & Gold Little Bird is listed in the Season 02 Patch Notes as a "Season 2 Exclusive Gold Market Camo". PCGamesN reported on 30 October that BULKHEAD plans to extend how long gold skins stay available because Season 2 is short, but no new end date has been given. The Black & Gold AK left the Gold Market in Season 2, so do not count on the Little Bird staying for good.
Should you exchange Cash for Gold Bars now or wait for the Season 3 wipe?
If you already have Cash you will not spend before the wipe, exchange some at a time and keep some back. Season 3 is still scheduled for 12 November. That date comes from a BULKHEAD developer reply on Steam on 23 October, and PCGamesN repeated it on 25 October. BULKHEAD then delayed its Season 3 devlog, and as of 3 November it has not posted the date or a start time on Steam. One r/WarDogs post today asks, "Are We Wiping on the 12th or Not?"
BULKHEAD's rule for the wipe, from its Early Access & Beyond devlog, is: "your cash and XP progression will reset with your cash auto converted into gold bars."
- You want a specific skin: split the exchange across several resets. Today's $548,930 is more than double the 30 October low but still below the Season 2 average of $673,003, so neither waiting nor buying has a clear edge.
- You are saving Cash for gear this season: keep it. Spent Cash cannot become Gold, so every unlock is a choice between the two. Our pre-wipe spending guide walks through that trade.
- You have not unlocked the exchange: the patch notes list the Gold Market unlock at $150,000 and WARDOG level 35, and the Gold Exchange screen stays locked until you pay it. That fee is about 0.27 of a bar at today's rate and does not convert at the wipe. Whether auto-conversion needs that unlock has not been published. See the WARDOG level unlocks for the route.
- You plan to let the wipe convert it: you are accepting an unknown rate. BULKHEAD never published the rate it used at the 15 October wipe, and the price more than doubled right after it. One season is a single data point, but it is a reason not to count on the last price you saw.
We would not put everything in on one day. With a typical daily move of about 13%, one bad day can cost a large order a lot. Thirds across a few resets is a simple way to avoid regretting one price. The full reset rules and dates are in our Season 3 release date guide, and our Season 2 wipe recap covers what the last reset did to Gold Bars.
Is the WARDOGS Gold Exchange closed?
It appears to be open for players who have unlocked it. Around 15 and 16 October, players on Steam and r/WarDogs reported a "currently closed" message after paying the unlock fee, and BULKHEAD gave no public explanation. On 30 October, one r/WarDogs player reported picking up three bars after the price "dipped into 200k range". If you still see the closed message, report it through Team17 support.
How do you get more Gold Bars in WARDOGS?
There is one route: earn Cash through play, bank it, and exchange it. BULKHEAD's Supporter Pack store text is explicit: "We will NEVER monetize in-game cash or gold bars, they must be earned through play." There is no premium currency, no battle pass, and no first-party way to pay for Gold.
Season 2 reward values are in the patch notes. Drill tower captures now pay $1,500, up from $750, and a FOB hack pays the hacker $2,500 while each teammate in radius gets $1,000. Separately, BULKHEAD's February "TOP QUESTIONS" post says the Hot Zone "also yields DOUBLE CASH!" Our Season 2 Cash farming guide ranks the routes, and the drill guide covers tower captures.
The Cash side of the sum is what sets your pace. At today's rate a 10-bar camo needs about $5.5 million of banked Cash on top of what you spend on loadouts, and that Cash has nine days left before the scheduled reset.
Want more banked Cash before 12 November? A Gold price only helps if the Cash is already in your account. These are the WARDOGS services players ask for most:
- WARDOGS Cash — hand-farmed Cash for your account, with a fast turnaround. This is the Cash you exchange yourself in-game.
- WARDOGS Career Leveling — reach the WARDOG level 35 Gold Market gate and the gear gates beyond it.
- WARDOGS Class Leveling — level the role track you actually play to the unlock you want.
- WARDOGS Rent a Pro — a specialist squads up with you on your own account while you keep control.
All WARDOGS services are at timesaver.gg/wardogs. The WARDOGS EULA lists boosting and paying for progression as prohibited conduct under §14.1, and Update 0.1.2 names Real Money Trading as a risk for permanent bans, so we make no safety promise. Our own promise is narrower: money back if your order doesn't start.
