How the bracket reached the final
Aurora came through the European Qualifier and have now beaten three teams in a row. They put out Natus Vincere 2-0 on Thursday (Nuke 13-8, Mirage 13-7), beat NRG 2-0 in the upper-bracket semi-final on Friday (Cache 13-7, then a 19-17 overtime win on Mirage), and closed out Team Vitality 2-1 on Saturday. The roster is XANTARES, Wicadia, woxic, Jimpphat and kyxsan, coached by ashhh.
Team Vitality's only loss so far is that upper-bracket final; they beat magic 2-0 and FURIA 2-0 on the way, and now face FURIA again.
FURIA have taken the long route. They opened in the upper bracket with a 2-1 win over MIBR on Thursday (Inferno 11-13, Nuke 13-6, Cache 13-6), then lost 0-2 to Vitality on Friday and dropped into the lower bracket. From there they beat MOUZ 2-1 on Saturday in a series that went to overtime on Mirage (Cache 13-8 FURIA, Mirage 19-16 MOUZ, Nuke 13-6 FURIA), then eliminated MIBR 2-0 in the lower-bracket semi-final (Mirage 13-8, Nuke 13-11).

- 5th-6th — MOUZ and NRG, $20,000 each. MOUZ lost to FURIA; NRG lost to MIBR.
- 7th-8th — Natus Vincere and magic, $10,000 each. Both went out on Friday and neither won a series: Natus Vincere lost to Aurora 0-2 and MOUZ 1-2, magic lost to Vitality 0-2 and MIBR 1-2.
Natus Vincere and MOUZ both arrived as Valve Regional Standings invitees. MOUZ came into Barcelona off the back of losing the BLAST Open Porto grand final to Team Spirit on 6 September and have now been knocked out in fifth-sixth.
Format, map pool and prize pool
Every series except the grand final is a best-of-three; the grand final is a best-of-five. The event uses the current seven-map pool: Ancient, Anubis, Cache, Dust II, Inferno, Mirage and Nuke. There was no group stage — the eight teams went straight into a double-elimination bracket on 17 September.

Every placement here feeds the Valve Regional Standings, and the VRS is what hands out Major invitations. PGL Major Singapore 2026 starts in late November and ends on 13 December, and its 32 invites come from the VRS snapshot dated 2 November 2026. A title here is a direct input into who is in Singapore, which is why a first-place finish for a qualifier team like Aurora carries more than the $200,000.
The VRS is Valve's own ranking and is separate from HLTV's CS2 world ranking. All 32 Major invitations are allocated from the VRS.
