Quick answer: The next ZZZ banner is Version 3.3 Phase II, which opens on 2026/11/11 at 12:00 server time, one minute after Phase I closes at 11:59. It headlines Severian (S-Rank, Wind, Attack) on the Answers in the Wind Signal Search, with his W-Engine Incarcerating Grip, and brings back Norma (S-Rank, Fire, Stun) with Chief Sidekick. Phase II runs until 2026/12/01 14:59 server time. Version 3.3 ends on 2026/12/02 06:00 (UTC+8). Your Exclusive Channel pity carries over through the swap.
Written 2026-10-22, the day after Version 3.3 "Journey to the Sky" went live. Phase I (Phoenix and the Velina rerun) is running now, and Phase II is 20 days away.
When is the next ZZZ banner?
Phase II starts at 2026/11/11 12:00 (server time). You don't have to project it this time, because HoYoverse printed it.
The source is the official Version 3.3 Special Program Intel Report, posted on HoYoLAB on 2026-10-09. The text of the post is only a few lines long. The schedule sits inside the attached infographic, which gives the Phase II block as "Signal Search Duration: 2026/11/11 12:00 – 2026/12/01 14:59 (server time)." A second first-party source confirms it. The Version 3.3 Update Announcement puts Severian's outfit on discount "From 2026/11/11 12:00 (server time)", the same minute his channel opens.
The handoff from Phase I is a one-minute gap with no maintenance. The V3.3 Limited-Time Channels (Phase I) notice says:
"The Agent and W-Engine Signal Search Event period is as follows: After the Version 3.3 Update – 2026/11/11 11:59 (server time)."
So Phase I ends at 11:59 and Phase II opens at 12:00. Every version since 1.7 that shipped a second half has used the same 11:59 to 12:00 swap, 12 for 12 through Version 3.2. Version 2.5 had no Phase II at all.
"Server time" is not UTC+8. It is the clock of your account's region: America, Europe or Asia. The same 12:00 unlock lands 13 real hours apart for an Asia account (server time UTC+8) and an America account (UTC-5). Banner times are printed in server time, and version lengths are printed in UTC+8, so check which clock a date uses before you set an alarm.
Who is on the next Zenless Zone Zero banner?
Phase II has four channels: two Agents and two W-Engines. All four are confirmed first-party.
| Channel type | Featured S-Rank | Attribute / Specialty | Status | Source |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Exclusive (Agent) | Severian on "Answers in the Wind" | Wind / Attack | Debut | Update Announcement 47149468 |
| W-Engine | Incarcerating Grip | Attack | Debut | Update Announcement 47149468 |
| Exclusive (Agent) | Norma | Fire / Stun | Rerun | Intel Report 47023957 |
| W-Engine | Chief Sidekick | Stun | Rerun | Intel Report 47023957 |
The Update Announcement names Severian's channel directly: "S-Rank Agent Severian (Wind - Attack) Can be obtained through the 'Answers in the Wind' Signal Search." HoYoverse hasn't published the name of Norma's rerun channel yet. That name and the default A-Rank rate-ups will come in the Phase II channel notice.
The Intel Report describes Severian in three lines: "Powerful Wind DPS Agent", "Launches enhanced Basic Attacks to deal massive DMG" and "Automatically dodges enemy attacks and counters." The infographic carries HoYoverse's usual fine print, "In development. Not representative of the post-release version", so treat those lines as his role, not his final numbers. His full profile is on our Severian page.
There's a structural reason Severian matters. Before Version 3.3, exactly two Wind S-Rank Agents had ever appeared on a limited channel: Velina (Wind Anomaly) and Roxy (Wind Stun). Severian is the third, and he's the first Wind Attack Agent the game has put on a limited channel. If you've been building a Wind team since the attribute arrived in Version 2.8, he's the first Wind damage dealer in the Attack role.
Which ZZZ banners are live right now in Version 3.3 Phase I?
Four channels are open until 2026/11/11 11:59 server time. Every one of them is an Anomaly channel:
- Into the Flames of Life: limited S-Rank Phoenix (Fire, Anomaly). Her debut.
- Plume of Rebirth: Phoenix's signature W-Engine (Anomaly).
- Graceful Gale: limited S-Rank Velina (Wind, Anomaly). A rerun.
- Joyau Dore: Velina's signature W-Engine (Anomaly).
HoYoverse confirms that "The limited S-Rank Agents and limited S-Rank W-Engines above will not become available in the Star-Studded Cast Stable Channel." Missing either Agent means waiting for a future rerun. If you want to try them before you spend, the The Final Callback audition stage lets you trial Phoenix and Velina for all of Phase I. It needs Inter-Knot Lv. 8 and the Event feature unlocked in the Main Story Prologue - Intermission.
Two Phase I features change what your channel looks like. Both were also in the Version 3.2 Phase II notice, so expect them again in Phase II. S-Rank Signal Customization lets you pick 6 S-Rank Agents or W-Engines. If you pull an S-Rank that isn't the featured one, it's guaranteed to be one of those six. Customization doesn't change the odds: the featured split stays 50/50 on Agent channels and 75/25 on W-Engine channels. A-Rank Rate Up lets you pick which 2 A-Ranks are boosted. If you don't customize, you get the channel's defaults. Our Phoenix page covers whether the debut is worth your Polychrome.
How fast did Velina and Norma come back?
Faster than any rerun before them, which is the most interesting fact about this version's banners.
| Agent | Debut channel opened | 3.3 rerun opens | Debut to rerun |
|---|---|---|---|
| Velina | 2026-06-17 (Version 3.0 Phase I) | 2026-10-21 (Phase I) | 126 days |
| Norma | 2026-07-08 (Version 3.0 Phase II) | 2026-11-11 (Phase II) | 126 days |
Before Version 3.3, the shortest gap between an Agent's debut channel and their rerun was 133 days, held by Ju Fufu. That comes from our full ZZZ banner history census of every Exclusive Channel since launch. The median was 189 days. Both 3.3 reruns beat the old record by a week. They're also a matched pair: the two Version 3.0 debuts came back in the same order, exactly 126 days later each.
That also means our own forecast missed. On 2026-10-05, our ZZZ 3.3 banners page used the 133-day floor to name Banyue and Zhao as the likeliest reruns. Version 3.3 broke the floor and brought back the two Agents who had been gone the shortest time.
Does pity carry over to the next ZZZ banner?
Yes, as long as you stay in the same channel type. The Phase I notice says it in two sentences:
"'Into the Flames of Life' and 'Graceful Gale' are Exclusive Channels. The Search count for guaranteed Signals is cumulative across all Exclusive Channels but is independent of and unaffected by other types of channels."
The same wording appears for the two W-Engine Channels. That gives you three rules:
- Pulls on Phoenix or Velina count toward Severian or Norma. The counter doesn't reset at the Phase I to Phase II swap, and it doesn't reset when Version 3.4 starts.
- Pulls on Plume of Rebirth or Joyau Dore do nothing for Severian. The W-Engine count is a separate counter.
- On the Exclusive (Agent) Channel, the in-game screen guarantees an A-Rank or higher within 10 Searches and an S-Rank within 90 Searches. W-Engine Channels cap S-Rank pity at 80.
One catch: the count carries over only until you hit an S-Rank. Any S-Rank resets it to zero. If that S-Rank is the featured Agent, you also use up any guarantee from a lost 50/50. So the rule is simple. If Severian is your priority and you don't want Phoenix or Velina, don't pull in Phase I. Pulls that end without an S-Rank still carry over, but an S-Rank you didn't want resets your progress toward him. What you're really budgeting is Polychrome. Our ZZZ pity system guide covers each channel's worst case.
What is the full Zenless Zone Zero 3.3 banner schedule?
Every date below is first-party:
| Milestone | Date and time | Clock | Source |
|---|---|---|---|
| Version 3.3 update | 2026/10/21 06:00, about five hours | UTC+8 | 47149468 |
| Phase I live | After the 3.3 update until 2026/11/11 11:59 | Server time | 47131668 |
| Phase II opens | 2026/11/11 12:00 | Server time | 47023957 |
| Phase II closes | 2026/12/01 14:59 | Server time | 47023957 |
| Version 3.3 ends | 2026/12/02 06:00 | UTC+8 | 47149468 |
The Update Announcement states that "Version 3.3 will run for 42 days, ending on 2026/12/02 06:00 (UTC+8)." That's the fifth 42-day version in a row (2.8, 3.0, 3.1, 3.2, 3.3; there was no Version 2.9). Phase II closes at 14:59 server time on the day before the version ends, so there's a short window at the end of the version with no limited banner running. Any Polychrome you haven't spent by then carries into Version 3.4.
The Version 3.3 compensation has its own deadline. The Issue Fix Compensation (Polychrome ×300, for accounts at Inter-Knot Lv. 4 before the update) has to be claimed "before 2026/11/20 23:59 (UTC+8)", and HoYoverse notes that mail "will expire after 30 days." That deadline falls nine days into Phase II and well before the version ends, so collect it now. The separate Server Update Compensation (also Polychrome ×300, same Inter-Knot Lv. 4 requirement) can be claimed until the end of Version 3.3.
When will HoYoverse confirm the Phase II details?
The schedule is already set. What's still missing is Norma's channel name, the default A-Rank rate-ups for both Phase II channels, and Severian's full kit. These all arrive in the run-up to a new Agent's channel, on a fixed pattern:
| Beat | Roxy (3.2 Phase II) | Phoenix (3.3 Phase I) | Severian (projected) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Character Demo | 2026-09-25 (5 days out) | 2026-10-16 (5 days out) | ~2026-11-06 |
| Agent Mechanics Intro | 2026-09-27 (3 days out) | 2026-10-17 (4 days out) | ~2026-11-07 to 11-08 |
| Limited-Time Channels notice | 2026-09-28 (2 days out) | 2026-10-19 (2 days out) | ~2026-11-09 |
| Channel opens | 2026-09-30 12:00 | 2026-10-21 (update) | 2026-11-11 12:00 |
The Character Demo is the most reliable signal. It has posted five days before its Agent's channel opened for every new Agent from Starlight - Billy Kid through Phoenix. The Severian column is our projection, not an announcement, and we'll grade it on this page when it happens.
Should you pull now or save for the next banner?
Saving only costs you nothing if you don't want anyone in Phase I. Here's a rough guide:
- You want Severian or a Wind damage dealer. Save. He's the first Wind Attack Agent to get a limited channel, and nothing announced so far says when another will come.
- You want Phoenix. Pull before 2026/11/11 11:59. She's a debut, and her next appearance will be a rerun on a timeline nobody has announced.
- You want Velina. Think about this one. One player on r/ZenlessZoneZero put the common worry plainly: "we don't know if Velina is ever getting another rerun after this one." The banner record supports some caution. This is Velina's second Exclusive Channel, and through Version 3.2 only one Agent, Ellen Joe, had ever received a third (a second conventional rerun). Exclusive Rescreening, the three-Agent catch-up channel, has run twice, in 2026-01 and 2026-08. Neither counts as a guarantee.
- You want Norma. Wait for Phase II. She's a Fire Stun Agent and shares Phoenix's Fire attribute, so you can plan both from one Polychrome budget across the two halves.
- You're chasing a W-Engine. Budget it separately. The W-Engine counter doesn't help your Agent pity.
Players usually go in this order: new Agent first, then their W-Engine, then Mindscapes. A signature W-Engine is a bonus, not a requirement.

FAQ
When is the next ZZZ banner? Version 3.3 Phase II opens on 2026/11/11 at 12:00 server time, one minute after Phase I ends at 11:59. Both times are first-party, from the Version 3.3 Intel Report infographic and the Phase I channel notice.
Who is on the next ZZZ banner? Severian (S-Rank, Wind, Attack) debuts on the Answers in the Wind Signal Search with his W-Engine Incarcerating Grip. Norma (S-Rank, Fire, Stun) reruns with Chief Sidekick.
When does the current ZZZ banner end? Into the Flames of Life (Phoenix), Graceful Gale (Velina), Plume of Rebirth and Joyau Dore all close at 2026/11/11 11:59 server time.
Does ZZZ pity carry over to the next banner? Yes. HoYoverse states the guaranteed-Signal count is cumulative across all Exclusive Channels. Pulls on Phoenix or Velina count toward Severian or Norma. W-Engine pulls are counted separately.
When does Version 3.3 end, and when does 3.4 start? HoYoverse states that Version 3.3 runs for 42 days, ending on 2026/12/02 06:00 (UTC+8). Phase II banners close earlier, at 2026/12/01 14:59 server time. Version 3.4 should follow the update maintenance at that boundary, but HoYoverse hasn't announced its launch time yet.
Is Norma's rerun confirmed? Yes. The official Version 3.3 Intel Report lists Norma and Chief Sidekick in the "Signal Search Event Phase II & Rerun" block. Her channel name and default A-Rank rate-ups haven't been published yet and should appear in the Phase II notice, expected around 2026-11-09.
Is server time the same as UTC+8? No. Banner times are in server time, meaning your account region's clock (America, Europe or Asia). Asia and America are 13 hours apart. Version lengths are printed in UTC+8.
Last updated 2026-10-22. All Version 3.3 Phase I and Phase II dates are first-party (HoYoLAB posts 47131668, 47023957 and 47149468). The Severian promotional timeline is a projection, and this page will be updated when the Phase II channel notice publishes.
