Severian is fully confirmed. The Version 3.3 Intel Report infographic lists him as an S-Rank Wind Attack agent, "Powerful Wind DPS Agent", on Phase II with his signature W-Engine Incarcerating Grip. Sunbringer is the only one of the three newcomers whose version HoYoverse has written down itself. The Preview Showcase caption, posted on 2026-10-24, reads:

Kafka and Robin are confirmed as playable crossover agents by their own Agent Records (Kafka, Robin), both filed under "Unknown Realm" and both carrying a Honkai: Star Rail logo. GosuGamers reports that both were teased at the Version 3.3 Special Program on 2026-10-09 as coming in Version 3.4.
Is Sunbringer one character or three?
One agent, three people. The Agent Record is a single card titled Sunbringer, faction Roscaelifer, and it shows three figures: the three Sunbringers. HoYoverse gave each one her own reveal video on 2026-10-23: Dracaene Sunbringer at 11:15, Eldreda Sunbringer at 11:45 and Lindverne Sunbringer at 16:01 (UTC+8). The Agent Record text opens:
"'Sunbringer'... That name carries the world's hope, and the promise the three of us made while standing side by side."
The record card shows a Fire icon and a Specialty icon. GosuGamers and Prydwen both list her as Fire / Armorer. Armorer is still a new Specialty: the only new Armorer W-Engine in Version 3.3 is the A-Rank Candlelit Scheme, an event reward from Spooky Funhouse Tales. That fits a player's advice to a returning Proxy on r/ZenlessZoneZero this week: "Armorer is very new and will probably be good for a while."
What "Enchainer" means for her kit is not published. HoYoverse uses the word but has not explained its gameplay. Sites describing her switching between the three Sunbringers, or a special Fire variant, are working from the trailer or the beta, not from a kit page. Is a Honkai: Star Rail character coming to ZZZ?
Yes, and that reverses what this page said in September. Back then the crossover was confirmed for Winter 2026 but no Star Rail character had been named for the ZZZ roster. Kafka and Robin were first teased at the Version 3.3 Special Program on 2026-10-09, and on 2026-10-24 their Agent Records put it in writing that both are playable agents.
Kafka's record shows an Electric icon and an Anomaly icon, and Game8 lists her as Electric / Anomaly. Her record line is a nod to her Star Rail role:

Both records play on a film-shoot theme. Kafka's has her agreeing to "play a movie star for once" on vacation, and Robin's own card says she looks forward to "sharing the stage with you all".
Robin's record shows an Ether icon and a shield-style Specialty icon. The Fandom wiki and GameDaily list her as S-Rank Ether / Defense, so she is not a straight copy of her Star Rail support role.
The crossover goes both ways. On the Star Rail side, the official account posted "Extraterrestrial Satellite Communication" profiles for Ellen (2026-10-27) and Astra Yao (2026-10-28), and Honkai: Star Rail's Version 4.7 Special Program airs on 2026/10/30 19:30 (UTC+8).
Is Robin free? Not announced. Pages saying Robin is a collab event reward are quoting leaks. Plan your Polychrome as if both collab agents need pulls until HoYoverse says otherwise.

The last row matters most. Roxy's Agent Record posted on 2026-08-07 and her channel opened on 2026-09-30. That 54-day gap lowers the Phase 2 floor from 58 to 54. The two bands still don't overlap, but they now touch: the longest Phase 1 gap on record is 53 days.

When do Sunbringer, Kafka and Robin release in Zenless Zone Zero?
Start with HoYoverse's own number. The Version 3.3 update announcement says: "Version 3.3 will run for 42 days, ending on 2026/12/02 06:00 (UTC+8)." Every ZZZ version so far has led straight into the next, so Version 3.4 should start the same day. HoYoverse hasn't announced a start date for 3.4 yet.
Phase II has opened 21 days after the version started in Versions 3.0, 3.1 and 3.2, and Version 3.3's Phase II is scheduled for day 21 (2026/11/11). That points to a 3.4 Phase II around 2026-12-23.

For the first time, the gap doesn't decide the phase. Every option fits a band, because both halves of Version 3.4 land at typical distances from a reveal batch this tight. So the tiebreaker is the second pattern, reveal order. In all 10 versions measured in September that introduced a new Phase 2 agent, the last Agent Record in the batch went to Phase 2. Roxy's debut made Version 3.2 the 11th (Claret first, Roxy last), and Version 3.3's published channels line up the same way: Phoenix was revealed first and Severian last. This batch ran Sunbringer, then Kafka, then Robin.
Our read, labelled as a projection: Sunbringer on 2026-12-02. She was revealed first, and she is the only one of the three that HoYoverse has tied to Version 3.4 in its own words. Robin, as the final record, is the reveal-order pick for Phase 2.
Two caveats weaken that read. Versions 1.1, 1.6, 2.0, 2.3 and 3.0 each shipped three new agents, so a batch of three is normal, but the reveal-order rule only says which agent comes last. It can't say how the other two split. And the dataset has never included a collab agent, whose banner could follow different rules, such as a dedicated collab channel. Treat the Kafka and Robin split as a coin weighted by one pattern, not a date.
What will HoYoverse announce next, and when?
The announcements arrive in a predictable order, which gives you dates to check back:
- Severian Phase II notice: around 2026-11-09. The Limited-Time Channels notice went up two days before the phase switch in nine of the ten versions we measured in September, and did so again in Version 3.2.
- Version 3.4 Special Program: around 2026-11-20 to 2026-11-21. Over the last five versions the livestream aired 11 to 12 days before launch. Expect full kits, banner phases and a new redemption code there.
- Phase 1 Character Demo: around 2026-11-27. The last eight Character Demos have posted five days before release.
None of these dates is announced. Each is the next step in a sequence HoYoverse has repeated, and we will re-check them on this page as they land.
What is not confirmed yet about Version 3.4?
Kits for Sunbringer, Kafka and Robin. Attribute and Specialty icons are printed on the records. Skills, multipliers, signature W-Engines and team conditions are not.

Severian's channel and the first half of Version 3.4 are three weeks apart, and Version 3.4 may carry three S-Ranks. Version 3.3 events still pay out before 3.4: the official artwork for Spooky Funhouse Tales and "Cyber Miracle Healer, on Duty!" shows 900 and 300 Polychrome, and the All-New Program adds 10 Encrypted Master Tapes over 7 login days.
