Frequently asked questions

  • Three: Common samples (green), Rare samples (orange) and Super samples (pink). Ship module upgrades consume all three, and the higher tiers of the upgrade tree are gated behind Super samples specifically.

  • Difficulty 7 (Suicide Mission) and above. They spawn as a single guarded cluster on the map and have to be carried to extraction, which is why Super samples are priced 80% above Common samples on this service.

  • Yes — samples are only banked if a squad member extracts with them, and a failed extraction loses the run’s haul. That is the real reason sample farming is slow, and it is exactly the part our pros handle.
